Pros
- got the suite as pictured on Trip Advisor; likely the best room in the hotel
- tremendous space and storage; clean room
- helpful and bilingual staff all around!
- walking distance to the Opera Garnier, Galleries Lafayette, Printemps, cafes, bakeries, Monoprixs, cross-stitch store, Paul, Eric Kayser, Midores, La Madeleine, rue Rivoli, obelisk and 20-30 minutes to the Louvre
- free and effective wake-up calls
- mini-bar, LCD TV, electric kettle, glasses, extra pillow and sheets, small lift
- sofabed was pre-made for our arrival
- breakfast is an option in the hotel
- our room opened onto the street and had a modest balcony with flowers on it (but most of the other rooms do not have balconies or street views)
Neutral
- atypical, rowdy party on the street kept some of us up one night
- 6 floors plus "0" in the hotel; lift only goes up to #5 and so you need to walk up/down one flight
- no lunch or dinner facilities in the hotel
- wi-fi is free but you have to get a code from the lobby at least daily; code is supposed to be good for up to 24 hours but not always
Cons
- hair dryer felt slimy
- housekeeping a bit intrusive at first but was resolved satisfactorily
- box of tissues for the room would have been nice
