“Great value form money hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

If need a place to stay in Paris and you don`t want to spend a fortune but still want to be near the center, this hotel is perfect for you. A little bit crammed in tight space it offers all the basic plus something more. The staff speaks English and the garage for parking is near by.

This was our first trip to Paris and we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We had been in contact with Christielle throughout the planning stages of our vacation, and she was very helpful and accommodating prior to our arrival.

The people at the front desk are all very friendly and happy to help with directions and recommendations. The hotel is also located in between two metro stops, in each direction, which was our primary method of transportation due to the outrageous cost of cabs!

We had a triple room. It was one double bed and one single bed and a nice view of the church next door. The church bells go off during the day about every half hour but I don't recall hearing them at night. The beds were firm, not super comfortable, and the bathroom was a decent size. There was a lot of natural light in our room as well. It suited our needs quite nicely, considering that we were only in the room to sleep. They had a continental breakfast available for 6 euro I believe that we did not try.

Republique is a little far from the city center by foot. However there are a lot of bakeries, cafes, and other places to pop into along the way, if you are up for the twenty minute walk. Otherwise, we found that you can get to most major attractions in Paris quite affordably, and quickly by metro.

We were warned to not stay at any hotel with less than three stars, but based on the number of positive reviews we read on trip advisor we decided to take our chances. Our accommodations definitely exceeded the rated standard. All in all our experience at Paris France Hotel was positive and I would definitely stay again.

We were in Paris for a week and stayed at Paris France Hotel. It is centrally located in the Marais district that enabled us to walk to just about every tourist spot in the city. We bought a package of 10 bus tickets upon our arrival but we hardly used them. The hotel is just steps away from two metro stops: Temple and Republique. All sorts of amenities surround the building such as bakeries, restaurants, pharmacy, laundrymat, convenience stores, etc. By Paris standard, our room was spacious as well as its bathroom which even had a bathtub. It was cleaned everyday and the linens and towels were changed or replenished as needed. The carpet is really tired-looking and needs to be replaced though as also the dirty shower curtain. We enjoyed the high speed wifi that was provided for free. We also liked the view from our room. As others have said, the lift is really tiny to fit just two people without bags. This hotel only provides bath soap but not shampoo, conditioner or lotion. The biggest asset of Paris France Hotel other than its location is its front desk staff who are all very friendly and helpful. No matter how busy they may be, when you stand in front of their desk, they stop whatever they are doing to attend to their guest. I will stay here again when I return to Paris.

Placement of hotel is great near metro station Republique and also near neighborhood Marais. Some nice restaurants and breakfast places nearby. The standard of the room/hotel is ok according to French standards (which is terrible in general).

5th visit to this hotel, great location (right next to two metro stations "temple" and "republic" which is great for the sightseers these all link to the main attractions of paris) excellent staff very helpful the lady in reception was particularly helpful which is ideal for us none french speakers. Room was spotlessly clean, en-suite was massive (one fault if any was the shower head was not attached so made it difficult to use properly)

It's a bit tricky to see the hotel entrance when you are zooming down the street in a Paris taxicab, however once you're inside, it's a super property in a really great location. When I booked my room I asked for a "deluxe" room -- and upon arrival I found myself walking up a small staircase to the topmost floor. This was the location of my penthouse room -- walls painted gleaming red on the inside and affording a wide view of Paris out of my window. It was a delightful surprise.

The hotel is located in a busy area on rue Turbigo. It's only a few steps to the Metro line; from there you may connect to all of the major attractions in Paris. Another great feature is a wonderful Monoprix grocery store just around the corner from the hotel. They offer an incredible variety of food, wine, cheeses and everything you'd ever want to eat in Paris!

The hotel serves continental breakfast and has a small bar. Within 50 feet of the hotel entrance are at least 5 bars and restaurants so you'll never be hungry, no matter the hour. All in all, this hotel offers friendly service (a teeny-tiny elevator) and great value!

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for the "red" room on the top floor. You'll never forget it.

It´s amazing how good value this hotel is, we stayed for 8 nights (26/3 to 3/4) and it was lovely. Near metrostations Temple, Republique and Arts et Meniers, very convenient. The surroundings is also very nice and "untouristed", with lots of brasseries with good value for money (especially L´Absinthe Café). The hotelstaff is very friendly and helpful. For example, they helped us with information on the best way to go around Paris, with price comparisons between Navigo, Visité or single tickets (for us the Navigo were preferrable). The room and bathroom were clean, the beds were OK, we slept well most of the nights (some aching in the back the first days, as always....). The views from the room typical parisienne, lots of beautiful buildings in the surroundings, we even saw the top of the Eiffel tower from our room! Also nice to have a bathtub, to take a hot bath, after a chilly day at Versailles! The breakfast was traditional continental and good value for the money, but part of our family is allergic to gluten, so we have to fix our breakfast ourselves. We talk with the staff about that and they reduced our breakfast fees from 4 to 2 persons without any problem. A big thanks for that!! It was also nice to have good internet connections on the room, it worked almost the whole time, except for shorter periods with inaccessibilities. This was only for very short periods so it was not a problem for us. All in all, we will highly recommend this hotel and we will return the next time in Paris. Best regards Mats Rosenkvist with family.
