Very good boutique hotel in a great part of the city. Close to all, especially the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalids. Metro station right across the street with a great pedestrian only food shopping street called "Rue Cler", just to the right of the hotel when you exit the front doors. Across the street you also have a wonderful grocery store to get anything you need. There are a number of Bistros and cafes on all three corners and excellent Pastry shops not to mention bakers and cheese shops. We found it a home away from home and very easy to get to with both the subway and bus. We also walked a lot from there and went to Petrossian caviar house which was just up the street. Great sized rooms with balconies on the top floor, wonderful bathroom and again I would like to say….excellent location to feel like a local in this Arrondissement. Would definitely book here again

The hotel itself is nice & location is good. Front staff very kind & willing to help.
The problem is how they handle problems-their lack of care & concern.
Before we arrived I had written a letter (after reading Trip Advisor)to not get a room facing the street.We arrived early & were assigned a room. When we got to the room isn't wasn't cleaned. The receptionist said she would upgrade us to another room & that should satisfy my street concerns. After an overseas trip we were tired & so grateful. I still don't understand how this room is an upgrade but it was clean & ready so we were happy. Our room was 204. Now on 3 separate occasions our room was left unlocked. After a whole day out & returning to find your room unlocked, was not a great experience. The problem is you need to pull the door to insure that is locked. It is a normal thing for anyone to do, but I guess not the staff at Le Walt. So we went down, told reception, he came to check it out & yes saw it was opened & noted it down in a book. Happened the 2nd time, different person at reception but she told someone in housekeeping. 3rd time-we most upset that a simple matter you could not be taken care of. Same person in reception-told manager in other room. Manager did not even take the time to talk to us or even apologize for what happened. I spoke of our concern for safety for ourselves & belongings. So that same night I wrote a letter to Sunwing asking for a representative to contact us. Of course, you only get a standard letter saying they are looking into the matter. so on our last day (which was the next day) we asked reception (different person) to please make sure our room was locked.
Returning home I received a letter from Sunwing that the management offered us an upgraded room for our troubles. I could not believe the audacity of someone lying. No one offered us a thing! Management couldn't even take the time to speak to us, nor make an effort to insure our room was locked after the 1st time. But to lie. In all my years of travel (over 35-taking 2 trips a year) have I experienced such nonsense.
I guess we have been fortunate never having had any problems. But a hotel can't offer anything after a client has left. But a little concern would have been great & appreciated. You look forward to a wonderful trip to Paris & the manager of Le Walt has to spoil it by the complete lack of concern & care.

We just finished a long weekend in Paris and stayed at Le Walt. This is a small hotel located just off the Champ de Mars. It is an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. The Metro is right outside the door, and very easy to use. All of the staff spoke several languages so we had no troubles with our American English. Our room was large and we had a courtyard view, so it was quiet for sleeping. Our a/c worked just fine as did the free wireless internet. With several restaurants nearby this was a great place to have as our base to explore Paris. Thank You Le Walt for a great weekend!

We booked this hotel on-line 4-5 months before our arrival. The customer service was great during this time as we changed our mind and time a few times but still received the same great deal.
We arrived in Paris at 6:00am and staff were quite helpful with providing us a room by 10am - it was great after a 28hour flight from Sydney.
The hotel location is fantastic. I don't think we could have picked anywhere else more convenient than this place. Walking distance to metro (literally 1 minute), restaurants, cafes, shops, Eiffel tower and about 6Km from Paris Gare de Lyon (central train station) - a 15€ taxi ride from the hotel. It is about 40 minutes from Paris Charles De Gaulle airport (55€).
Good size rooms, some with Eiffel tower view, very clean and great ambient. We will definitely return there next time we are in Paris. It was also great value for money in comparison to where our friends were staying at the same time (almost around the corner from us).
