Exactly what we wanted for our first night in Paris: clean, friendly staff who were flexible (checked in early), good bed, and one TV channel in English. The price is right and being near the train stations and buses, we easily travelled to both Versailles and then to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre for dinner.

This is an inexpensive hotel near the Gare du Nord. The location was convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was OK - kind of a dump, but it was clean. We could hear the street noise in our room, but it was not overpowering. The neighborhood is eh - spend your time elsewhere and come back to sleep.

The Hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. We had a beautiful large bathroom with a view of the Sacre Coeur. Beds were definitley comfortable enough - small lift which isn't so great for claustraphobics staying on the 7th floor. The area that this Hotel is in, is it's worst feature - We were trying to find out way back to the Hotel from the Metro at around midnight and found it to be a very creepy area - lots of homelessness too. Walking down the street you would see faeces that at first I thought was from a dog but realised quickly that it was from a Human.

We chose the hotel to be a short walk from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. Both stations have excellent public transportation. One of us did not enjoy the small breakfast, but otherwise the hotel served us very well, especially the elevator.
