“Kid's cooking class in Paris”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

On our last trip to Paris we added a special event for each of our 3 children.
Rose, the foodie and Chef was elated when she realized she would be taking part in
a cooking class for kids in Paris.
There were about a dozen kids in the class. No one spoke English and our daughter knows only
basic french. Then, just like out of a movie a young handsome french boy broke from the group and said "I will translate for her, I speak English".
The training was centered around fruit, a smoothie, a raspberry jam cookie, and chocolate dipped strawberries were created.
Her only complaint was that the recipes were a little to basic but otherwise she absolutely loved it and
came away with treats for the rest of us to share.

“My favourite patisserie school in Paris. LOVE LOVE LOVE!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

I took 3 classes at Ecole Lenotre, and they were all fantastic! Millefeuille, L'opera, and Framboisier. 2 of the classes were in french, and L'opera class was thought in English.
The classes were all full on. The instructor did some of the difficult part, but he would also ask us to repeat what he did on our own, in all the classes. The classes were small, some class had only 4 person, and max is 8 person. At the end of the class, you get to bring your own creation home, and they were all delicioux! I have no complain about this school except for not going for more! Yes the classes were expensive, but you gain know-how and recipes that are workable when you try it yourself at home, and taste as authentic as they were in the school or purchased in Paris. I would definitely recommend this school, to any passionate amateur cook!

“Took Macaron Class”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

This class was a little disappointing. It was hard to show you how to make macarons with 8 people all trying to learn how to make 1 batch of dough. The instructor did most of the work and the class was pretty expensive. If you don't mind more of a demo class then this would be okay. Also the classes are mainly in French.
