Stayed for 3 nights in April 15. Enjoyed the stay very much. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Our room was at the top of the floor with balcony. Convenient to go around nearby underground, walking distance to Moulin Rouge. Lift is very small, 2 pax maximum. If u with big bag, 1 passenger & 1bag allowed. Definitely will return back. It was an affordable stay.

Room Tip: ask for top floor with balcony. nice view.

Nice compact hotel at reasonable price. I stayed there for 5nights from 10th to 15th May. Samire, the manager is a very lovely and friendly person. Helped us in every manner - help us locate places, guidance on restaurants among others. Hotel has a kitchen and a common area where you can have food or have a drink. Samire was kind enough to surprise my little daughter with cute goodies every day
It's a no frills 2 star hotel with compact but clean and well maintained rooms with washroom in good condition.
Location- 5 minutes walk from place de clichy metro station.

This hotel is in a good location, buses and metro are easily accessible. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The wifi was free and had a strong signal. Bathrooms were small but the shower was spacious and clean. This is a nice budget hotel in Paris.

Just completed 15 night stay. Very happy in everyway. Room cleaned daily. Good quality fittings. Well sound proofed. Nice electric window shutter for good light block out. Found dining room and complementary tea and coffee very convenient and comfortable. Good little supermarket that sells everything a 2 minute walk from hotel. Good free wifi. All areas are kept very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Enjoyed our 3-night stay in a room overlooking the courtyard. Very clean room. Front desk staff friendly and very helpful. Very reasonable room rate. No breakfast but guests can buy baked goods at the bakery across the street and enjoy with the free coffee provided in the ground floor by the front desk. There is also an organic produce store named La Recolte on the opposite corner of the bakery where one can buy hot soup, bread, cheese, and fruits.

Above all, my wife and I were supposed to say 4 nights but, on the day we were to travel from Amsterdam, there was no train due to rail workers strike in Belgium where trains from Amsterdam pass through. Train service resumed the next day. Hotel was kind enough not to charge us for the first night even though I notified them already outside of the cancellation window.

Close to Place de Clichy metro station. If If happen to visit Paris again, will definitely stay here.

Stayed for 3 nights late April 2015. Staff were friendly and helpful, assisting me one night to print out my e-tickets to Versailles. The hotel is less than 10 metres from the main road which felt safe. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Also liked the electronic shutter in the rooms.

Let me start by saying, I am pretty easy to please. I am not very picky in terms of where I sleep on vacation - my main hopes are that the place is clean and the people are friendly. Hotel Darcet is VERY clean, but only a few of the people we met were friendly. We stayed 3 nights and, on one of the nights accidentally spilled some wine on the bed - we, of course, cleaned it as best we could. After we returned from our sightseeing the next day, we were reprimanded for making a mess with the wine and told not to "set wine on the bed", that that is what the tables were for. First of all, duh.. we did not set wine on the bed like it was a table. Second, there are in fact very few places to set anything down. And we weren't just reprimanded once, but twice. Another downside is that you have to give your room key to the front desk when you leave. They say that there is someone at the desk 24 hours - however that someone has to (understandably) use the restroom at some point. When they leave, they lock the door inside and out - so nobody gets in OR out. This happened to one of our cotravelers who was locked out at 2am for 20 minutes - and stared hopelessly at those inside who were trying to get out. What if there had been a fire? Other than that, some member of the staff seemed annoyed when we asked for assistance with navigating our day.

On the plus side - room was clean, price was reasonable for location, it was a cheap taxi ride from the airport (about $15 usd), the wifi was decent and they have a small kitchenette on the lower level that is available for guests to use.
