This was our first trip to Paris and we booked the hotel on the basis of the previous reviews on Tripadvisor. We certainly were not disappointed. Our hosts Marie and Victor made us most welcome as did Othello, who greeted us each morning. Our family stayed in the cottage which fulfilled all our requirements and was modern, bright and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the Eiffel Tower (don't miss the light show in the evening) and the other tourist attractions are easy to reach. (We walked to most of them, which gave us the opportunity to take in the atmosphere along the winding streets) There is a good selection of cafes and resturants in the immediate area and also stalls with various produce for picnics. We hope to make a return visit to Paris and would definately use this hotel again.

It's hard to add much to the totally positive reviews this lovely place in Paris receives. It's very close to the visually spectacular (at night) Eiffel Tower. A walk along the Seine is just a walk away. Access to the rest of Paris by metro is simple. The hotel is around the corner from the Rue Cler where cheese and fruit are sold on 'market' stalls and you could spend your whole stay eating well at the various popular (with locals not tourists) restaurants.

And the hotel itself? Comfortable, relaxing and so friendly. Maria and Victor are perfect hosts (ask Victor about his fascinating car collection) and Othello is a great companion. Victor's jam is sublime and we are so upset that our purchased supply is running out.

Maybe we should visit Valadon again soon!

We stayed here after reading the reviews on Trip advisor and weren't disappointed!

We had two interconnecting rooms (family cottage) at the back of the hotel as we are a family of two adults and two children (8 and 5). This worked well.

Location: Fantastic location for accessing the Eiffel Tower and the other Paris sights. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants around.

Rooms: Clean and modern with a powerful shower. We had an outside patio to enjoy wine in the evening. The free use of a fridge, crockery and cutlery meant that we ate in one night. internet access was free. The staff were helpful, friendly and spoke fantastic English.

Breakfasts; croissant and a roll with coffee, juice and the fantastic home made jam. A simple but delicious breakfast.

Overall a good hotel in a beautiful city.

we are just back from our second stay in the Hotel Valadon, and it remains great value for money for Paris, and a good location with the bus route 69 especially useful.
Victor again recommended two great local restuarants (Le Bosquet and Le Petit Touquet, so we ate exceedingly well, though were shocked by prices of cups of tea and coffee (6 Euros and 4 Euros respectively).
A couple of issues, we had the cost of one night's stay taken from our acocunt a couple of weeks before we went, and this was unexpected. Also, I forgot that we had to arrange our time of arrival as the reception is not staffed all the time.
