A one night business stay in this boutique style hotel was a joy. Excellent staff and a stunning guest room for a perfect night's sleep.Only wish I could have stayed longer but I will be back for a weekend trip as soon as possible.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here last week. It was our second trip to this hotel. We wanted something quiet yet superior quality and this place did not disappoint! The staff is extremely welcoming, tending to your every need in the most pleasant way. They were quick with excellent recommendations when asked, greeted you with an umbrella to take with you on those rainy days and delivered lovely chocolates every evening.

As mentioned by the other reviewers, the hotel decor is impeccable and the rooms spacious. We stayed in a Prestige Suite and the furniture was extremely comfortable, the bed is one of the best I have ever slept on. The bathroom is exquisite with a rain shower and huge clawfoot bathtub. Honestly the bathroom alone was more spacious than my first NYC apartment..

We also had breakfast at the hotel and it was amazing. The best of everything and plenty of it. Cured meats, cheeses, bread/croissant, fruit, etc...

HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a truly wonderful Parisian experience. I know we will be returning...

From the very friendly caring welcome, to the equally attentive attention when checking out there was not a bad word to say about our stay. We loved every minute of it.
We stayed in a junior suite, which was spacious and well laid out, the bathroom was a joy and the large balcony would a treat we will enjoy when we come back again when the the weather is warmer!

The bar had a large realistic looking log fire in a separate lounging area, the lift was all you imagine a lift should look like in France, small, metal caged in centre of spiral staircase.

We arrived late due to Eurostar problems starving hungry just before the restaurant was due to close, we had been in our room just long enough to remove our coats and freshen up when the phone rang with the concierge telling us there was a table for two ready for us in the restaurant if we needed it. We hadn't asked to book it, it was a lovely attention to detail.

The food was excellent, a bit pricey but so good it took the sting out of pocket denting.

The chocolates waiting on the bed, the card with a personal message to greet us, complete with a fresh white rose, a music system, coffee machine in room, good spacious lay out.

The wi-fi was free, which is a pleasant surprise, although I had to keep relogging into it if I had not accessed it for a while, it would have been nice if it had remembered my device.

We didn't get to try the spa or the gym, maybe next time...

In summing up, the staff were all French, not all fluent in English (which was a joy as we got to practise some of our terrible French) and all very friendly, without exception, perfect location - you won't come away feeling you unsatisfied, but you do get a feeling for the culture rather than a clinical westernised hotel clone. Nothing unclean or not properly working in the room, 5 out of 5.

Mr and Mrs Hills.

Room Tip: Junior Suite was very good.

My husband and I stayed here in October last year. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, so it was a very special trip, a first visit to Paris and expectations were high! And we were not disappointed in the least way. First of all the hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Purple happens to be my favorite color, and the lobby, restaurant and bar were a very tasteful blend of contemporary and traditional decor, which is just what I love! The rooms were huge and equipped with all the amenities that one would anticipate from a luxury hotel. The staff were all very attentive, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The location was perfect for eating, shopping and sight seeing. We also dined in the hotel restaurant one evening and it was wonderful! I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to my friends!

This is a stylish, tiny hotel in the heart of the best part of Paris; it is high on design and offers extraordinary customer care. The concierge, waiting staff and doorstaff negotiate that fine line between friendliness and familiarity with aplomb whilst the efficiency seems more remarkable than it should because this is something that so many other hotels have forgotten how to do.

The lobby has a chic bar and another seating area leading off it -- lots of chocolate brown and muted purple-- and the new decor marries perfectly with what I guess is an art-deco lift and spiral staircase with stained glass windows. Our Junior suite was a good size, with a large bathroom, lovely furnishings and both an electric kettle and a Nespresso machine.

There is a very pretty, small gym in the basement -- yes I know most of those words don't belong in the same sentence -- but it's true. Little design touches throughout the hotel -- I loved the door handles and the breakfast milk jug-- show the intelligence, thought and taste that has gone into this.

I also liked the feeling that they were not out to milk us for every cent they could; our final bill contained no additions: how often does that happen?

Breakfast was delicious and varied with no sense of being hurried out even though we had arrived only 10 minutes before it was supposed to end. We watched a very kind waitress dealing with an extraordinarily demanding customer with endless smiles and patience; our only surprise was that he didn't actually ask her to chew his breakfast for him.

I hope and believe they can keep up the standard of service, staff who genuinely seem to care make all the difference! I hope to go back soon.
