“Not For Light Sleepers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

Yes, this is a lovely, charming, boutiquey hotel, wonderfully situated across from the Luxembourg Garden. The staff is super attentive and friendly. The neighborhood is lovely, with very good dining and shopping, and though slightly away from most galleries and museums, they are mostly in walking distance, if you like to walk. I cannot comment on breakfast, as we don't eat breakfast, but the breakfast room is certainly charming. HOWEVER, beginning about 8am, the interior noise begins. With about ten rooms on each floor, there is a lot of coming and going. The rooms have slam locks, metal, that make a real BANG! each time, so much so that the floor and walls shake. I am not a light sleeper, but it was impossible to sleep much later any of the eight days that I was there. The rooms, though not tiny by Paris standards, are certainly not large. We had a superior double, and the bathroom could not accomodate two people, and we are not large people.

Room Tip: We booked three months in advance and saved about 30%, without being charged before our arrival.

Where can I start. Let me just say that you should stop reading and book this hotel now, because you will not find better value in Paris.

This is a lovely little hotel in a very nice, upscale, quiet area of Paris. A little away from the craziness of the tourist trap area, but still only a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Seine.

I went with my girlfriend and we stayed in the Executive Room on the 2nd floor which was very nice, with a great view of the gardens and the side street. Not massively big but great for Parisian standards, and with a huge bathroom.

It is also very quiet at night despite facing the main street (great insulation). I have to mention the staff who were all super helpful and courteous, and our room always ready when we came back.

I also encourage you to get the room service for breakfast. We had it up in our room in two minutes flat, and it was absolutely delicious! Nothing beats starting your day in Paris with an indulgent breakfast in bed.

This will be our hotel of choice every time we go back to Paris from now on. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Room Tip: Executive room in the 2nd floor was great. It is on the corner so you get a view of both the Luxembo...

On our recent trip to Paris we chose to stay at the Hotel Luxembourg Parc based on recommendations from friends. We were so happy with our choice. The location was perfect, right across the street from Luxembourg Gardens. They are so lovely & easy to visit for a few minutes or hours. The rooms are furnished nicely & large by Paris standards. There were several restaurants in the area, we especially enjoyed La Cuisine de Philippe just steps away. With only 40 guest rooms you get to know the staff, they were very helpful & friendly. Each night when we'd return we would have a glass of wine in the parlor before returning to our room. We chatted with the staff, & other guests about their day, discoveries & recommendations. The feel is very comfortable & relaxed. We would return in a heart beat.

Right in front of the Luxembourg Museum, the Senate, and the side entrance to the parc where the rightly famous Medici fountain is, the Luxembourg Park Hotel is also walking distance to Saint Sulspice, Saint Germain and Notre Dame .The hotel exterior is charming, the children loved the glass elevator overlooking the pretty courtyard. Our junior suite was spacious, particurarly for Parisian standards, with gorgeus dark wooden floors and classic decor -blue damask or velvet fabrics, golden details- the bed was comfortable with a fluffy duvet and a blue elegant bedspread. The sitting room was large with a nice sofa, flat tv, writing desk And a Nespresso coffee machine. My favorite was the luxury marble bathroom with huge bathtube and separate shower, the bathroom was tastefully decorated. I think it's worth booking a suite and pay the extra money. The staff of this hotel was exceptionally kind and helpful. I highly reccomend it and sound stay here again.

Attended the wedding of my nephew in Paris and Hotel Luxembourg Parc was ground zero for all attendees over the week stay. The Trip Advisor reviews are 100% accurate. The location is excellent, the staff has impeccable customer service including a sense of urgency that you don't often find in Paris and the rooms were lovely (we chose executive rooms which provided ample space). Thanks so much to Fabienne, Jules, Tania and Christian for the wonderful care we all received. You made our trip a wonderful experience. Extremely impressed with the amount of attention which was paid to our entire group, from car service to restaurant suggestions and reservations for our large groups to the welcoming smiles that we received each day when we returned....you guys were fabulous. Lots of wonderful memories in the warm hotel lobby and cozy library. LOVELY boutique hotel.....HIGHLY recommend!! We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: The size of the Executive rooms were ample. Rooms facing the courtyard are very quiet.

Rooms are large by Paris standards. Bathrooms are exceptionally large with top quality fixtures. Building dates back several hundred years, with old beams exposed, but everything in the hotel is first class and up to modern standards. Across the street from Luxembourg Gardens, one of the loveliest places in Paris. Marvellous restaurant directly across the lane from hotel: La Cuisine de Philippe -- not to be missed. The breakfast room at the hotel is lovely and worth the Euro 15 per day. Service is exceptionally efficient and professional from a well trained staff who are multilingual, friendly and genuinely desirous of being helpful. Cleanliness and maintenance of the property are obviously priorities. Metro and RER stations are not so close but staying at this hotel is well worth the minor inconvenience of a few minutes' walk. If you're interested in a charming, romantic, boutique type hotel in Paris, you'll be very happy here.

Room Tip: I had a room just above reception and spent a good deal of time working at the desk in my room. I n...

My husband and I recently returned from a wonderful trip to Paris. We did much research, hoping to find a "typically Parisian" boutique hotel . When we saw their website and read the Trip adviser reviews, we knew the Hotel Luxembourg Parc was the perfect hotel for us. It is very charming and elegant and located on the Left Bank inn a very pleasant neighborhood, across from the Jardin du Luxembourg. We loved our "Executive Room" with two windows overlooking the sitting area in the courtyard. Our room had a nice sitting area, a desk, marble bathroom, and wooden beamed ceilings. It was beautiful! Very comfortable,quiet...and romantic! Everyone at the Reception Desk was very walcoming. Fabienne, Tania and Christian were wonderful to us. They were always friendly, helpful and patient in making dinner reservations and answering all of our questions and making us feel very much at home. We also enjoyed each morning in the charming Breakfast Room and were pleased with the buffet selection - fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, ham, fresh French bread for toast with a selection of preserves and yummy pastries. Fresh orange juice and coffee were always served to us at our table by a very nice young man. The hotel also has an inviting bar area for cocktails and also a cozy panelled library with compouter, comfy chairs and fireplace. Paris was wonderful - everyone was very friendly and helpful - but the Hotel Luxembourg Parc and it's Staff will always be our fondest memory.

Room Tip: Loved our Executive Room overlooking the courtyard.
