Small rooms, tho tastefully appointed. Great library/lounge. Excellent staff - most helpful I can recall in Paris. Great neighborhood.

Great hotel to stay in, cosy, good location, good staff knowledgeable in english. No faults. Cosy rooms, comfortable bed. Clean. Good choice in Paris. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
I booked the Hotel Luxembourg Parc for a trip to Paris to celebrate my partners birthday and also to propose. Before I arrived at the hotel I emailed ahead asking for restaurant recommendations etc and always received a friendly and extremely prompt response. On arriving at the hotel nothing was too much trouble and the staff were always extremely helpful, the rooms were also of a very good standard and very clean.
The hotel is located in an excellent position in the Latin quarter and just by the Luxembourg Park, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a trip to Paris.
My wife and I stayed here for two nights after reading the tripadvisor reviews.
I normally book direct with hotels but made the mistake of googling the hotel name and booking through what I thought was the hotel's own website but it was actually the website of HotelsParis. It was no problem but something to be aware of.
The hotel is in a beautiful location and the reception staff are all first class and very helful. The night before flying home, I tried to use the communal computer to print out my boarding passes but it wasnt working so the good guy on reception offered to let me use the main reception computer without hesitation. Much appreciated and it would have been easy for him to say something like "sorry, but you can try again later" and these are the samll touches that help make a stay enjoyable and stress free.
It was fairly expensive but everything is expensive in Paris and while there are cheaper hotels, you get what you pay for. The location is beautiful and just a short walk to my favourite areas of Paris- St Germain, Latin quarter and Notre Dame.
We had the breakfast one morning at 15 euros each and on first glance it seems expensive but it's actually very good value when we had coffee, orange juice and 1 croissant each at a cafe along the the road, the bill came to 18 euros.
All in all a very pleasant stay.
We stayed here for 6 nights in Dec. 2007 in an executive room (#17) with a queen (2 beds pushed together) bed. Our room was on the first floor and faced Rue Vaugirard (we could see a little of the buildings of the Luxembourg gardens and some greenery from our room).
The room's decor was lovely and the room was comfortable but small. It must have been a bit of a squeeze for the owners to fit all the lovely furniture into such a confined space. Our room had a desk and chair, 2 arm chairs and a side table, a bureau (with the tv, mini bar etc) and a good sized closet. Luckily the room had enough hooks and cupboard space to enable us to put most of our gear away.
The 2 beds pushed together worked fine as they had a common bed base.
The little entry hall area helped create some space too.
The bathroom was well appointed and had its own window that looked out to the hotel's internal courtyard. Again, there was enough storage in the bathroom. The shower (in bath) was excellent and the fluffy white towels were appreciated.
Even though our room faced the street we found it pretty quiet.
The hotel's internal courtyard looked very pleasant and must be a nice place to sit in summer. We did though make use of the hotel's bar and library on the ground floor. The library had a computer with internet access provided free of charge. There was also wi-fi internet access available on the ground floor for no charge but I had some difficulty getting a reliable connection and ended up subsribing to Orange wi-fi (which I could also use in the hotel's communal areas).
The hotel's staff were all friendly and helpful.
The hotel's location is fairly central. It took us about 7 min to walk to the Odeon metro stop. Whilst there weren't that many cafes and restaurants right on the hotel's doorstep they were many located a little more towards Blvd St Germain.
We tended to eat breakfast in nearby cafes but we did enjoy the hotel breakfast on our last morning. The patisseries (sourced from close to the hotel) were excellent, as was the overall choice and quality available. The breakfast room was charming with views out on to the street (and some greenery).
We really enjoyed our stay.
