“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2009

Our trip to Paris and this hotel was fantastic! With the personal help of the front desk staff providing us with directions and the suggestion of the hop on / hop off tour enabled us to enjoy the many beautiful sites of Paris easily.
Their hospitality made us feel very welcomed in such a comfortable hotel.
Great cafes, bistros, and restaurants right in the immediate area. There are also 2 laundromats on the street if you need to do laundry.
We were also grateful that the hotel offered to us the 'Paris Shuttle' between the airport and hotel. 20 Euro p/ person but It was definitely easier than taking the RER and / or Metro in a city that is unfamiliar. parisshuttle.com
If and when we return to Paris, The Hotel Londres Eiffel will be our first choice and we have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends

Stayed at Hotel de Londres Eiffel for 3 nights in Sept. Terrific location, near lots of great restaurants and a very short walk to Eiffel Tour. Not too far from a Metro stop. Hotel is very nicely kept, service was a bit mixed: one staff member was terrific, spoke English very well and helped us out tremendously, another staff member however wasn't helpful at all. The rooms are small but well laid out, the bathrooms are very nice (white tile, framed art, nice bath products). There's a small computer closet in the lobby with free internet that's great to have, and the elevator is very helpful as the circular staircase makes it difficult to move suitcases. Overall a bit of a splurge but worth it for the location and quality of the rooms.

We arrived at 11:00 AM, and our rooms were cleaned and ready. Throughout our five-day stay, the staff was ready and able to answer all of our questions (someone is on duty 24-7). We were very close to the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler.
The only negatives were that the rooms were very small, and, because we were in an older part of the building, there was no elevator service.

The Hotel de Londres Eiffel family made our stay "a wonderful Parisian experience". Their dedication to service, attention to detail, friendly attitude, and diligent work ethic was evident and appreciated during our recent visit (Sept 18 to Sept 22). It is people like these who keep us returning to our adopted Republic (France) and the City of Paris again and again. Rooms were spotless, bathrooms were modern, location was just a couple of blocks from the Eiffel Tour and Seine River. The morning breakfast was fresh and tasty. Best part about this hotel was how quiet it was. Almost no street noise could be heard. Could not remember hearing a siren, horn, or street sound during our entire visit. We slept very soundly here.

I stayed with my 10 year old son for 3 nights and will definitely go back when we are next in Paris. The staff are fantastic and friendly, the location is dreamy... The picture of the window with the eiffel tower was the view we had as well and it was spectacular (although I will not pay for the view next time I will get a room on a lower level). It was clean and tidy and all the fixtures were new and modern. The elevator is tiny but that is part of the charm! You have everything close by and we always felt safe even walking around at midnight! There is a laundry mat a few doors down in case you need one! Cafe next door and many others all around! Takes about 3 minutes to walk to the Eiffel Tower (WOW) and the location is perfect to catch the paris bus or boat that will take you everywhere else. The staff handle everything for you so nicely and are very friendly! The rooms are small (this is Paris after all) but it is truly charming! I can't say enough about how great our stay was! They also have free wireless access for the laptop and there is a shared computer in a little booth in the lobby if you need it! I thought it was a great value for the location and quality of rooms. We were able to walk with luggage from the Pont de Alma train stop to the hotel with no problems and ecole militaire metro is very close as well! Found the room really quite as well considering the age of the building and the fact it is in the middle of a HUGE city!
Enjoy your stay!

A wonderful time in Paris was had by all. This hotel is comfortable, clean, convenient, and charming. All the staff, particularly at the front desk, are helpful and friendly. Completely fluent in English but more than willing to let us attempt our "high school" french. Great cafes and bistros very close by and an excellent breakfast served at the hotel. Will definitely stay there again

We had reserved 1 double and 1 triple, but when we got there we were given 2 doubles and a pull out bed in one of them. The price difference between a double and a triple is huge (which we would have been charged), so after I complained, we got one of the rooms rectified. It's great that they solved the problem, but it was dissapointing that they tried to pawn off the double as a triple. Otherwise, the rooms were well decorated, very quiet, and were clean. Our double room was very dark, but the triple room was well lighted. Both bathrooms were ok, but ours was kinda dirty with black mold in the shower. It was listed in Rick Steve's book, so that's how we chose it, but I wouldn't stay here again b/c it's too far from a metro stop and that's mainly how we got around Paris. It was a 10 min walk at a brisk pace from the hotel to the Ecole Militaire station. But, it was close to the Eiffel Tower (only a couple blocks away) and it was a nice area with good restaurants and Rue Cler nearby. We liked that there was free wireless internet and Arnaud (at the front desk) was very nice.
