“Lovely boutique hotel seconds away from Eiffel Tower”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

My partner and I visited Hotel de Londres just after New Years. We managed to get an 'early bird' deal from their website, so it is worth checking for the deals there.

The hotel was very cool and quirky, beautifully furnished reception area, and a very helpful receptionist who promptly showed us to the room. Room like the reception was furnished to a very high standard. TV, soap, shower gels, very clean room. Bed was very comfy! We were on the road side of the hotel but this was fine, the area is very quiet and we didn't have any problems with noise. Hotel is situated by nice restaurants and shops, plus coffee bars. Eiffel towers is just moments away, so was nice to feel right in the heart of Paris. Nearest Metro was Ecole Militaire, and was not tricky from Gare Du Nord (we came on the Eurostar)
I didn't try the breakfast there but the staff were very plesant and helpful, perfect english and helped us with any query. They also sorted taxis out for us when we were in a rush to get back to Gare Du Nord. Couldn't speak more highly of Hotel de Londres Eiffel!

Room Tip: You can pay more for an Eiffel view room, we just chose a normal room and it was lovely! As mentione...

This was a return journey and the hotel lived up to our recollections. A great place to go with kids as their family rooms are two separate rooms, next to each other, on a second staircase at the back of the hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. The bathrooms are very well done up and the rooms are quite a good size for Paris.

Exactly as good as most reviews. This is in a great location only a short walk to a metro stop and from the Eurostar at Gare De Nord it was about a twenty five minute journey. I found the people friendly and the rooms lovely. Although it was early in the year Paris is still buzzing day and night.

We loved this hotel.Wish we didnt have to come home today! Our top 10 reasons to stay here:
1. Perfect location. Literally 5 minute walk from the metro station ( ecole militaire- which is about half hour journey from Gare De Nord the eurostar station)
2. Close to Eiffel tower- just around the corner!
3. Exceptional staff, very friendly and spoke English, as our French is beyond appalling, we can just about greet and thats it!
4. Cosy bedroom- view over bustling street, you feel like you are actually living in Paris!
5. Gorgeous smelling toiletries, you smell like a freshly squeezed lemon after having a shower!
6. VERY comfortable bed, slept well.
7. Breakfast room decorated beautifully.
8. The small Pizza restaurant at the top end of the street, where you are welcomed by the friendly Owner ( he opened the front door and shook our hands). The pizza was amazing.
9. The lovely HOT shower in our little bathroom, powerful and calming at the end of every very busy day.
10. How you feel when you leave.. its a bit like leaving home and you cant wait to come back!
Thank you to all the staff at the Hotel de Londres

Room Tip: We had a standard double facing the street and we loved it! Small but lovely, very romantic!

After 5 bazillion trips to Paris, and staying all ove the place, including the Westin, we finally found the perfect match in this hotel. It was in the best location ever because Rue Cler is uber-cute and loads of bakeries and places to eat around. Close to the Metro and very easy to get to from Gare du Nord.

Our room was the usual 'good things in little packages' European style with very pretty fittings. The concierge was also very helpful. We will absolutely be staying there again.

This hotel is superbly located in a neighborhood of small shops, restaurants, and markets. The hotel has been upgraded since our last visit, providing a pleasant surprise. The staff is friendly, helpful, and a source of good advice on local restaurants, which have changed since our visit two years ago.

We stayed at the Londres Eiffel on our second Paris leg, as part of a European Vacation. Having stayed up near the Opera House on the first leg, we chose the south side for the second leg.

We stayed in a room on the 6th floor with a view of the tower for 2 nights, and a standard room for the 3rd night. The view was awesome, so much so, that we slept with the curtains open, so we could admire the view of the tower, lit up, during the night!

The hotel is a nice little boutique establishment, with a host of great and knowledgeable staff, who are eager to help. There is a house dog, which brought a smile to my wife's face, who was missing our dogs after 5 weeks on holidays.

The hotel is about 2 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower, and within 5 minutes walking distance of a number of metro stations on different lines, making it easy to reach anywhere within Paris.

The rooms are lovely, decorated in a true Parisian way. The 6th floor room with the view of the tower was a little smaller than the standard room, due to the way the roof and windows intersected, however the view was well worth it!

I would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Go for a room on the 6th floor with a view, you won't be disappointed!!!
