“Great little Paris hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

We stayed for 3 nights in July 2012 and found the hotel to be fantastic. Upon arrival, the staff were polite and very helpful. The room was small (but that is to be expected) but clean and comfortable. We appreciated the small balcony for the fresh air too. The location was great - the Arc de Triomphe is a stones throw away and the Champ-Elysees is only a few streets over. The Eiffel Tower is also a casual stroll away. There is also a number of decent cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast did not include hot food, but was plentiful. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Oh, and the bed was extremely comfortable, especially when sleeping of a Parisian hangover until 6.00pm...

Room Tip: Request a top floor room for a view of the Arc de Triomphe - but beware the slow elevators!

We stayed 3 nights but from the moment we arrived we were sorry that we did not plan for a longer stay. We were made very welcome immediately and our luggage was quickly taken to our room . The Hotel is very clean , we had a very comfortable bed in our superior room which is slightly larger than the standard room on the 4 th floor and we could see the Arc de triomphe from our window. The metro was very close so we were able to find other main attractions quickly . The reception staff were very helpfull at all times with any questions we had , yes yes yes Highly recommend ,Wifi connection and speed access was a bit on and off but we were also able to use the computer next to reception which was no problem . Next time in Paris Will definetely stay here again and try to make it a week next time .We do not speak French but very glad that so many friendly people in Paris were able to speak English and help us during our stay.

Room Tip: Get a superior room with balcony our 4 th floor room was quiet even in the mornings we expected th...

We stayed for two nights at this hotel in late September and were very happy with our choice. When we checked in the woman at the front desk went out of her way to make us comfortable and to answer all of our questions. I think her name is MaryAnn or maybe Marian. She couldn't have been more helpful and spoke excellent English. The price seemed high but for a Paris hotel in such a good location it was probably a good buy. It is only a block or so from the Arc de Triomphe and close to one end of Champs-Elysees. A stop for the hop on/off buses is close. The neighborhood is quiet but with a good choice of restaurants if you don't want to venture far. Our room didn't have a balcony but the view was still nice and you could see the Arc if you looked to the left. The room itself had everything we wanted including a refrigerator and while not large didn't feel cramped and was very clean. We found a coupon on the trip advisor site that got breakfast included in our rate and it was very good. I would stay here again if I return to Paris. From Paris we went to Bayeux in Normandy and if you want to travel to there and not take the train or rent a car I would recommend using Albion-Voyages. They offer a shuttle service and while more expensive than the train if you have four or more people it really isn't that much more and you get excellent door to door service.

This is a very nice boutique type hotel located just a block and a half from the Arc de Triomphe, and a block from the Metro, RER and the Air France shuttle bus to Charles de Gaule airport. Rooms are small but very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable and bathroom surprisingly large. Has one quirk which is that you leave your keycard with the hotel staff when you leave your room and that same keycard is what turns on the electricity in your room, which means we had to reconsider how we were charging some of our electronics since we couldn't leave them charging while we were out of the room. Has a nice breakfast buffet but there are also nice bakeries and restaurants in the area along with pharmacies and superettes. The only drawback I can think of is that if you want to be more within the nightlife of Paris then this hotel may not be for you since the area is quiet at night. But then again all you have to do is basically cross the street and you are at the Champs d'Elysees and a 10 minute train ride will put you right back in the action. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: If it matters to you, get a room which faces towards the Arc d'Triomphe

Fantastic hotel with friendly staff. The room was fine, maybe a little compact but to be honest we didn't spend much time in it. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but stocked up on "emergency" supplies from a shop 2 minutes walk down Avenue Carnot on Rue des Acacias. But the best thing has to be the location, a couple of minutes up the road and you've got Charles de Gaulle Etoile metro station - very easy to get a day pass for, and then l'Arc de Triomphe is a few steps beyond with Champs Elysees across from the Place. There's quite a few restaurants in the area which we had cafe au lait, croissants and a pizza at a little Italian restaurant at the top of Av. Carnot. There is also a coach transfer to the airport here. Looked at a few of the other hotels I'd seen on the websites, which didn't seem as nice - this was a wee gem!

What a challenge it is to find a hotel in Paris! Some 1500 options, how to choose the right one? Picked this hotel based on the Trip Advisor reviews, price range and location, and never regretted it for a minute.

Location. Couldn't find a better one. Very central, safe, a minute's walk from Metro, with lots of restaurants to choose from nearby, from more expensive ones to very affordable places. Best part of it - so convenient to get to from CDG airport! Les Cars bus stops right in the beginning of the street, so it's a minute's walk from the bus stop. A few small supermarkets nearby as well.

Hotel. Lovely and traditional, you do feel you are in Paris, and not in a standard hotel with no local feel to it. At the same time looks and feels new, like it's just been done up. Breakfast is nice but not worth the money, much better to get some stuff in a supermarket and store it in the mini bar fridge. Free Wi-Fi which is always a bonus. Staff are friendly and speak English, which helps!

Rooms. Very clean! Spotless! Not enormous in size but very decent, compared to what you would normally get in the center of Paris. Very comfortable beds, pillows and bedding, slept like a baby. The hotel is on a fairly quiet street, considering the overall location, but you still hear the street noise. It's not too bad though at all, especially if you don't mind earplugs. Aircon worked perfectly, and tea & coffee replenished regularly.

Being a fairly experienced traveller, overall, very impressed by everything in this hotel. If you are not looking for Ritz luxury and butler service, but would like a very comfortable stay in a perfect location, this hotel fits the bill. If I ever visit Paris again, will not even be looking at other options.
