“If coming back to Paris, staying here again.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Stayed here for 2 nights (8 Bed Dorm) and found everything I needed. I would agree with most reviews below, staff is friendly and very happy to help and give advice.
Location was amazing to me, supermarket just cross the street, metro 2min walk, Sacre Coeur round the corner, plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs (even 2 Irish pubs) nearby.
At the foot of Sacre Coeur is take-away pizza place where you can get tasty pizza for 6-8 Euro.

Bfast is good given it is a hostel and not a hotel, standard selection of bread, croissants, muesli, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc., will feed you until lunchtime.
Common kitchen is well equipped and you can also enjoy free tea and coffee all day long, just have to put the kettle on.

Wi-fi available in the reception area and lounge, not very stable and reliable connection, however good enough to check out mail and read news.

General cleanliness could be improved, I noticed little mould on our bathroom ceiling (well, it looked like mould to me, may have been some kind of dirt, who knows). However apart from that, bathroom was really nice and clean.
Bedroom itself was clean as well, with AC unit and safe for valuables.

All in all, I enjoyed my stay in Paris and if coming back, will stay here again.

I stayed in a four bed female room. The beds are bunk beds. The walls were painted pink and there was a skylight. Unfortunately, you can't see the stars using the skylight, because it has a rain shield over it.

I was pleased that the toilet and shower were in our room and that they were in separate rooms so you could use the toilet while someone else was showering. Bring your own towel if you don't want to rent one.

When you first arrive in Paris, plan on grabbing a map from the nearest hotel. It will take some effort and patience to find this hostel.

The breakfast was tended by a nice woman that only speaks French. Breakfast included one croissant, baguettes, butter, jam, chocolate rice crispies, corn flakes, milk, juice, and coffee.

The hostel is by the Sacre Coeur. This is great, because it is a landmark that is on the map and it will help you find your way back. It is also walking distance to Moulin Rouge and the sex related shops on the same boulevard.

We stayed here as a couple on a quick trip to Paris. The staff were friendly and the private rooms simple but well-equipped and comfortable. Included breakfast was perfectly acceptable for a hostel (or hotel for that matter). Not the cheapest hostel but worth it for the extra comfort.

I stayed here with my parents, my wife, and my tot. The staff are very friendly. The experience of being able to cook and share your food with other guests is one of a kind. they can help you book a shuttle going directly to the airport. It is very near a grocery, souvenir shops, a metro ststion, and Sacre Couer Cathedral. A good place for youth of all ages!

Exceptional value for money, very helpful staff and a free breakfast too! Wifi, a nice community lounge area, and the location is at the foot of sacre couer, so one of the best views in paris is only a 5 min walk. Gare du nord can be walked to or accessed in minutes via the metro. I was travelling solo and really enjoyed it here. It was a little loud at night [hence the sleep quality rating], but that was not really the hostel's fault. There's a nice outdoor seating area too that's a chill place to smoke a cigar.

Room Tip: Maybe a room further from the road would be quieter? I was in the room over the main entrance, which...

The hostel well connected with metro station, just 3-4 mins walk from Anvers. And very close to Sacred Heart Basilica of Montmartre. The staffs are helpful for guiding around the paris. The breakfast was reasonable. The internet was working good for sometime but sucks most of the other times.
The rooms are clean but need a complete cleaning again.
The room recent are reasonable for backpackers, being traveled solo i feel its a good place.

Decent standard budget accommodation.

Anvers metro station is 5 minutes walk away, it was 45 euros in a taxi early in the morning with no traffic to CDG airport although the hostel can book this journey for you for 18 euros each. 15 minute walk from Gare Du Nord. Decent location near Sacre Coeur.

The hostel itself was fine, with good security at night not letting in strangers. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Wouldn't say the area was great but we didn't feel threatened either. Lots of hustlers and street traders nearby but that is just Paris for you.

Room was basic with ensuite bathroom, aircon functioned poorly and wouldn't like to stay during the summer months when Paris gets pretty warm. Staff were fine and charged phones free of charge, rang taxis and helped with directions.

Hostel seemed very quiet and wouldn't have thought this was a great place for solo travellers.
