“Fine - but rude desk clerk”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014 via mobile

We learned at a different hotel in Paris that a 5 year old cannot stay in the room with his two parents if you've only said there would be 2 adults. That other hotel we learned this at was polite and tried to help out a little - at least they were KIND. All our reservations this time in Paris were made with the same mistake (yes - our own fault) but the desk clerk at this particular hotel was suuuuper rude. After lugging tons of bags and discovering we had zero options at this hotel (ended up having daddy sleep at a completely different hotel), this clerk reminded us, "Bonjour is the correct greeting in this country. We are not in North Africa as you may think." We are trying to figure out how to split up our family in a foreign country, and he pops off with that. I definitely will not be recommending this hotel or ever going there again.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel because of lowered expectations for Paris budget hotels but I was pleasantly surprised. We were given a newly renovated, large room with a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel is in the middle of a great neighbourhood with a little of everything to make everyone happy. The red light district is north, along with some great nightclubs and some delicious restaurants and quieter streets to the south. I would book this hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor to get the largest rooms.

Hotel is a value for money but staff is not very polite. We arrived early and their checkin time is 2 pm. the guy at the reception said you leave your bags and go off and can return at 2 pm or later. We sat in the lobby infront of TV. obviously some French programme was going on and we did not understand but the guy from reception came and switched off the TV. it was like leave the lobby........which was very rude for us. Other two guys were also not very polite and avoided them.

Breakfast was great value but the lady who served breakfast was unable to understand a single english word. I asked for Butter and she brought tea :-) But otherwise she was very polite and smiling always.
Room and bathroom size is very very small but then that is Paris. and you can get this much space in this price I assume.

Location is great and all the attractions are at short distance.

Location and price. Both were very good. The en-suite bedroom wasn't too small.
How long do you want to stay in your room when in Paris?
Breakfast was continental, but there was no restriction on quantity.
The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is one of many in the Pigalle district. It's welcoming and comfortable. The sights and sounds of the area don't intrude, especially at night. Walk for five to ten minutes in almost any direction to discover a bar or restaurant, and the metro is five minutes walk to Boulevard de Clichy.

we stayed here early march this year and we picked this hotel because of the price and the location, we had no trouble staying here. The location was superb, you could easily walk to the Louvre museum and sacre coeur. Cosy restaurants near by, and the hotel staff was very helpful with transport and other things we needed. The wifi was working and there was no particular noise from the street. This was my third time in Paris and I think this area to stay was the best yet! Clean rooms and nice staff! I would go here again

I stayed here in February 2013. It's a 10 minute walk to Sacré-Coeur, close to the Pigalle metro station, so the location is really great.
The room and bathroom was incredibly small, even for a European hotel.
The free WiFi was not working at any point in our three day stay.
Free breakfast is nice, but rather stingy. From what I remember you are given one glass of juice, a croissant or two and maybe some fruit.
Front desk staff were very friendly though, suggesting good sights to see and how to get to them.
I don't think I would stay at this hotel again, but it was alright for the price we paid.

We stayed at this hotel when we went to Paris.. The reason we picked it was the price, and its location.. Although it is close to Pigalle (the red light district of Paris) we felt completely safe.

The breakfast served at the hotel was pretty good. When we arrived from Canada after a very long flight (mid-morning) the breakfast was already closed, but they still made us a sandwich and coffee (cafe au lait) so that was nice of them.

Room was fairly clean, but small (although this is common in Europe).. My biggest concern was the lack of air conditioning.. When we went, the temps soared upwards of 35 degrees outside, and the only thing we had in our room was a little fan.. Better than nothing, but I cannot say the sleep was very comfortable.

If I go back to Paris, I would pay the extra money and go to a hotel with A/C.
