“Well located hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We have stayed in Paris before and this hotel out did all expectations, it was close to the metro and easy to find. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the en-suite was immaculate and huge by Paris standards. There was free WiFi for the short 2 day stay we had, we didn't have breakfast but it was available. I would definitely stay here again

We got a family room for the four of us which was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was enormous and the beds were very comfortable. One of our windows didn't close properly at first so we thought it was going to be quite noisy but once we closed it correctly the traffic noise wasn't bad at all. The only minor gripes I'd have with the room are that the wi-fi was a bit patchy and a kettle would be nice after a long days walking. Otherwise it was fine.

Breakfast is available in a self service cafeteria but, with plenty of cafes around, I'd recommend you try them instead. They're cheaper and the coffee is better.

The lift is a bit small but that's pretty common in Paris.

The staff all spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful, offering plenty of advice on what to see and do during our stay.

Location was perfect for us. You're away from the tourist traps but with plenty of lovely local shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The metro is just around the corner and it's only a few stops to the sights and shopping areas.

Situated just 150 mtrs from the metro this hotel is a great place to stay. We arrived late in the evening but the receptionist spoke very good English and check in was very efficient. We had a room on the 5th floor and thankfully the lift worked well, albeit will only hold 3 people.
When we got to the room we were very pleased as it was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom too was fine with a nice large shower and this too was immaculately clean.
There is a mini bar, hairdryer, safe and aircon and an iron can be got from the reception.
The bed was very comfy and we both slept really well.
The only downside was that there were a couple of hangers missing and there aren't any tea or coffee making facilities.
Wifi is free for the duration of the stay and has a good strong signal.
We enjoyed our stay there and would certainly return if we went back to Paris.

Room Tip: All room face the same way so no real preferences

I've just got back from my Parisian visit. Having stayed at Hotel du Plat d'Etain several days, i could say that this hotel is more than sb can expect from a hotel of this category. Our room was on the 4th floor with a great bed and really soft pillows! The hotel was clean and the maids were well-trained. The reception staff excellent! Every single time they served us with politeness and a smile, no matter what time of the day it was. Whatever we asked, they were there to help us. Furthermore, the hotel was about 1 minute away from the nearest metro!
Hotel du Plat d'Etain is a great choice (Thank you my gorgeous T...)

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The rooms were small which wasn't a problem because we were out and exploring Paris all day. The bathroom was quite big. Everything was very clean! The bed was nice and the shower as well. The breakfast was okay and personell very friendly and willing to help. We would definitely stay there again. It is a good 3 star hotel with a great location!

I have recently returned from a long weekend stay at this hotel with some friends. We actually shared a four bed room which was very spacious with a lovely bathroom. The hotel was better than expected, it was immaculately clean, the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was very central and literally 1 minute from the metro. Basically we couldn't ask for anymore and when I return to France I will definitely stay there. I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Had a lovely stay at this hotel this weekend :) staff were very helpful and friendly.. The room was nice, a tad small but that didn't bother us. Breakfast was 12 euros a time but we didn't choose that option as its nicer to go out and get a croissant. It wasn't noisy so had a great night sleep! Would stay here again.
