I've been staying in this hotel two or three times a year now for about 15 years and it has always been in my view one of the best value for money three star hotels in Paris. The receptionists are helpful and pleasant, the hotel is clean and although the rooms are small it's location is ideal. Anywhere you might possible want to walk to in Paris in any direction is probably only about 30 minutes away. There are more luxurious hotels, sure but they come at a hefty price. In three-star terms this one is relatively inexpensive. Some excellent restaurants nearby too.

We recently spent 6 days/5 nights in Paris, France as a package purchased through American Express which included lodging at The Hotel du Louvre.

Our experience with this Hotel and staff was perfect!! The hotel was clean and the Conceirge service impecible. Xavier and Stephan were extremely helpful in guiding us around Paris to destinations we didn't know how to reach and the rest of the staff was very acommodating as well.

We loved our room and the location of the Hotel was perfect as we walked to many of our destinations. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

We checked out many hotels offered by Thompson in their package but even after reading the positive reviews of this hotel were slightly apprehensive on arrival - especially as they had no record of our booking through Thompson. However they gave us a room straight away - Delaunay, a second floor double room with en suite bathroom. I cannot fault this hotel. Location perfect, staff always available and very helpful, room (quite small) clean and pleasantly decorated with really comfortable bed ( why can't British hotels and BBs put decent mattresses on their beds?) Cold buffet breakfast - cereal, juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, croissants and more.

Easy to get to from Charles de Gaulle - RER B to Chatelet, then walk or even better Metro line 1 to Louvre - Rivoli station which is only 2mins from hotel ( we tried both but found that it was quicker overall and easier at Chatelet to use the Metro)

I stayed at this hotel in late May having read good reviews on TripAdvisor. We had a twin room on the second floor, which was decorated to a very high standard with a good bathroom and a flat screen TV. The beds were very comfortable and the room also had air conditioning.

Our room overlooked a side street and had a great view of the Louvre. The loaction of the hotel is fantastic for exploring Paris.

I would definitely stay here again!
