We enjoyed lunch here on May 12 after visiting the Sunday art marché on the median plaza of blvd Edgar Quinet (right at the metro stop). We found the décor delightful, especially the tables with Quimper painted designs. We had visited the Quimper faience factory years ago and it brought back memories of Brittany. The restaurant serves galettes (savory fillings) made with buckwheat flour and crepes (sweet fillings) made with wheat flour, both are biologique (organic). We chose ham, egg and cheese galettes. They were perfectly cooked with the filings peeping out of the middles of the crispy thin galettes. For 15 euros for 2 galettes, our lunch was a bargain even with an added a pitcher of wine. We’ll go back.
