Went to Paris for a long weekend with a few friends and stayed here. It's now called the Kyriad Hotel, and is located acros the street from the Gare du Nord station, which is where the Eurostar from London terminates.
Despite it's location on top of a train station, it was quiet and street noise wasn't a problem (double glazing on the windows).
We had a triple room for three days and it was quite clean and modern with an ensuite that had a shower/bath. The room was cleaned every day while we were out sightseeing. The only small gripe I had was the walls were quite thin so you could hear the cleaners and other guests moving about in the hallways in the morning.
Would definitely recommend it though to any travellers having a long weekend in Paris from London. It's a handy location, with a metro station across the road.

I was very pleased with this hotel.

The room was clean and recently renovated, and had amenities such as a coffee maker and safe. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly.

Our room overlooked the Gare du Nord but was still reasonably quiet because the sound-proofing in the windows is quite effective. The rooms are also air-conditioned, which will be a major plus in the summer.

The surrounding area lacks charm but is conveniently located to major transportation routes.

Perfect location - 1 minute from Gard Du Nord and Metro across street. Bed was most comfortable I have slept in for a longtime. Pretty small room, but how long do you spend in a room while in this city. Bit noisy at night if window open but silent if closed.

Leave your luggage in the station luggage lockers if you have a later flight. 9 euros for a massive locker taking loads of cases.

The KYRIAD PARIS X GARE DU NORD is conveniently located directly opposite the Gare du Nord railway station.

Room:
My air-conditioned room was situated on the top floor, it was small though clean and had a window which could be opened that provided a view of the station when looking to the left. The bathroom was extra small, as was the shower. The only place to put soap was on the ledge of the shower tray and you would find that when reaching down for it, you would knock the tap handle and cut off the water!! The shower curtain also had a habit of clinging to you!

As this is an old property, there is a very small lift which occupies the centre space of staircase.

Breakfast:
Available, but did not use. Very small area next to reception.

Due to the hotel's location, there are plenty of cafes outside (though not of particularly good quality) of which some remain open 24hrs a day.
