I stayed there a few days and I was positively surprised by this very small hotel. It is well located in the 9th arrondissement, close to Grands Magasins and all major transportation.
The room are nice and clean, even if some things could be improved (replenishment of grooming products, ...)
The breakfast is good but the choice is very limited.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, slap bang in the middle of two metro stations and within easy walking distance of the Champs Elysees.The hotel is small but that's what attracted it to me. We loved the decor and fantastic atmosphere, great venue for couples. As a regular business traveler I was looking for something more intimate, a change from the hustle and bustle of the large hotels. Free internet was offered throughout the hotel and an IPad was available for use to get the weather forecast and plan your day.

The optional breakfast was average and the tables were a little cramped for eating breakfast. Great for a chill out cocktail late evening but not ideal in the morning!

The staff just couldn't do enough for you and went out of their way to help us enjoy the wonderful city. We were given advice on restaurants, shops and jazz clubs!

I would definitely recommend it to all my friends.

Charming and intimate hotel in an incredible location in Paris. The beds are very comfortable and overall hotel design is very chic. Staff is amazing. Laurent at the front desk was most helpful and professional in assisting with reservations,sightseeing recommendations, etc. Hotel Athenee is walking distance from most of the sought after sites in Paris.

We stayed for one night and the room was perfect for what we needed. Shower, bed. Staff was helpful, rooms were tiny but clean, comfortable and had cool decor. The dim lighting didn't bother me as with other reviewers. Also, mentioned was the shower curtain that blows toward you when showering. I admit, it was annoying, but I was happy to be in a clean, updated bathroom/room with nothing else to complain about. The price was well below other hotels we researched - under $300.00 after all taxes included. We didn't eat there so no review on food or the bar. Short cab rides got us to restaurants and airport. Taking a star away for service since they forgot our wake up call the morning we left so our trip around the sites was cut significantly. We didn't mention it at check out since it's likely we were too exhausted to get up early anyway :)
