My brother and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel staff was very friendly, and although their English was not so good, overall we were able to communicate. We were given two keys- one for our room, and one for the other front door to the hotel (since after a certain hour the main hotel reception room is closed, and you have to enter through a door right next to the main entrance). We walked up to our room, where we were expecting just to have a communal bathroom, but instead we got a double bed with our own bathroom, which included a toilet, shower, and sink. The hotel provided us each with a soap bar, shampoo, and towels. In addition, there was a single toilet accessible in the hallway as well (without a sink). The room was decorated pretty nicely as well, and we had a nice view of a pretty quiet street. There was no air conditioning, but we opened the large windows at night and we were fine. When we checked out, the hotel let us store our luggage in the main reception room, which was locked and/or watched over (we felt it was ok to leave it there). The manager (or who we assumed was the manager/owner) lives on the 2nd floor of the hotel, and she was very friendly and always said that if there was a problem, we could come get her. Overall, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and were basically able to communicate, the price was good, and it was within around a 15 minute walk from the Louvre. We were very happy with our stay here.
