Clean rooms, excellent staff, close to everything including the metro and Luxembourg Gardens. Highly recommend this hotel. There are plenty of good restaurants and activities. The gardens are beautiful.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

We stayed here for three nights. The room was on special offer, which is probably why we had quite a small one.

Reception is 24 hours, the rooms are clean, and the location is just perfect. The Latin quarter is an amazing part of Paris - lovely streets, restaurants and bars, charming and quieter than the bustle, but a quick metro ride away from the centre. Would definitely recommend the hotel as a base for visiting Paris.

The hotel is located an a quiet street close to metro and bus stops and Luxembourg Gardens ( one of my favorite spots in Paris.)There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was very helpful when we needed our boarding passes printed. We also took their recommendation of a private driver to the airport. He was early, friendly and professional. The rooms are very small as is the bathroom. The shower is tiny but had strong water pressure and lots of hot water. I'll take that any day. There was a list of major sights in Paris with the bus numbers and where to get on and off. That was very helpful. All and all a good no frills hotel. Ask for a top floor room with larg windows.

The top floor room with beams is a must if you wish to have a spectacular view of "Paris's thousand chimneys" (any opera fans out there?). The only drawback is that the wifi connection may be very weak, and skype may not work as a result, but it's just a detail. Tiny wardrobe, large bathroom, but mind your head if you're very tall and wish to have a shower! No shower caps either, and fairly scanty breakfasts, but very helpful staff throughout the house. An enjoyable stay, immensely convenient for the Sorbonne, Luxembourg, Notre Dame...

Definitely try to get on the 6th floor. The rooms are fabulous and the view is breathtaking.
When booking, I inquired about getting one of those rooms and was told they weren't available for my stay.
However when we arrived we were told we had been upgraded to the 6th floor at no charge because they remembered we wanted it.
How nice!
The hotel is clean and modern with a good breakfast.

The location is perfect. To and from CDG airport, the RER B direct train is two blocks from the hotel. Luxemburg gardens is just around the corner and I really recommend Café Luxemburg.

Room Tip: 6th floor is enchanting with beams and a view to die for!

The location is excellent, close to sights, shopping, cafes and restaurants. It cannot be faulted.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
My room was small, but clean, and the bed was ok, nothing to brag about.
