“Perfect for exploring the Marais district of Paris”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Simple and basic, pleasant efficient staff, aim for the first floor (Rooms 11 or 12) as stairs are narrow and steep. Handy for the Metro and in easy walking distance of many of the major tourist sites. Very convenient to a good number of first rate characterful restaurants.

This is an old hotel. Therefore, no elevator and sloping floors. The bathrooms are tiny, but there are still bathrooms in the rooms. The triple rooms are good for a family of 3. The breakfast is pricey for what you get, but it is right there. If you want more for less go across the street to the fruit / veggie place and then to the bakery.
If you get off at the Bastille metro go to exit 7 and walk down the street from there; the hotel entrance is very small and not well marked, so pay attention.
It is great value for the $$

Plus: Great location: many places to eat outside, can easily access Notre Dame by foot, subway just 2 min away from the hotel. Had incredible view from my window. Friendly reception.

Minus: Very poor wi-fi. It was that slow that in the end I was using a public Orange wi-fi from the street to get a faster connection. Toilet and shower outside of the room, but I knew that in advance.

Room Tip: Try to get a room which will face the street. It's not that loud, but the view is fantastic.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean and modern. Decoration is in general modern.
The staff is friendly and we were given the password for the WIFI on check-in. Stairs are bit of narrow in general no complaints.

Pleasant hotel in convenient location. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. Décor was modern. Staff were friendly and we were given the password for the WIFI on check-in. Stairs were bit of a trip hazzard if you weren't careful but other than that no complaints.

I stayed here on the weekend and started to feel nervous
as the time approached having read the

TA reviews. Fortunately, There were no bed bugs or noisy people. It is expensive for one person , the bed was a single, and the toilet was on another floor. However, I had a really good night sleep, the staff were ok and the location superb. The attic room made me feel as if I was really in the heart of old Paris.
