EXIT 7 BASTILLE. You need to know that. Then, do not confuse Rue Saint Antoine with Rue Faubourg Saint Antoine.
( Saint Anthony must have been a great hit around here!!)
Staying in Le Marais is a Parisienne treat. We arrived in a snow storm st 2 am . Everything was surreal. All cars were white. We were greeted warmly by the night porter in this establishment.
Having read the reviews we were wary! However, we do realise that one star is a world apart from 5 star!! We were given
the key to the third floor. Up we trucked ( no lift as advertised) and we arrived at a warm room with fresh linen on the beds. It was all we needed.
The next morning, after a breakfast of orange juice, fresh croissants, jam and coffee we headed out. The male receptionist chatted and guided us. No problem.
Having toured and studied Paris maintes fois, this time we strolled and shopped the Marais, Place des Vosges, Rue des Rosiers,Rue de Rivoli . A shoppers paradise.
All so close, at hand, out the door.
Ok now off to Bofinger!
This " hotel" is friendly in a great location. No problem, Goohle maps will show it to you!! Then
You know what you are getting.
No problem for one star.
