“Very very good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

For the second time, we stayed in this hotel.. The room is quite small, but very comfortable, the top is the position and the very gentle people who works there..

In 5 minuites you canreach 3 differents metro station, and Blvd Saint Germain, with the Church where the famous Descart is buried.

For traveling and visitng Paris, I will come back here every time..

A charming hotel that is impeccably clean, quiet and well located. You cannot go wrong. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The neighborhood is lovely and central to everything. My daughter and I were there for three nights and were delighted. Thank you to the Hotel St Germain for a wonderful stay!!

If you're looking for a hotel that has Parisienne charm with beautifully decorated rooms, a hotel that is walking distance to all major sites, a hotel that has the always accommodating Slim, Pierre and Antonio, to assist you with your questions and needs, this is the hotel for you. The hotel is small but it makes up in a large way with convenience and super-friendly staff.

Book this hotel....you won't regret it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at this hotel. We have been to Paris many times and this is the best hotel we have stayed at. The rooms are comfortable and the decor pleasing. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent, within walking distance of the main museums. The nearby streets are interesting with many excellent places to eat. We could not have had a better stay in this beautiful city. Merci Hotel Saint Germain!

We had heard parisians tend to be rude and give bad service. The service at Hotel Saint Germain was great from the moment we arrived to the instant we left. Breakfast is included and even though it is a small buffet, the food quality is great. They include expresso beverages, President cheeses and the best croissants we had in Paris. The rooms are small (as every hotel in Paris, so I hear), but really nice. The location of the hotel is great, about two blocks from boulevard Saint Germain, which is a really nice district to walk around. It is also very close to a subway station, so that was very convenient.

Definitely recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed.

Our room was small but adequate for our needs, clean and well appointed. The location of the hotel was convenient to many museums and sites as well as to the Metro. The staff were very helpful from start to finish. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning.

Adding a small refrigerator in the room would be a nice addition for tourists.

We would highly recommend it if you want a Paris hotel experience and not a chain hotel.

You wouldn't know this hotel was there unless you knew it was there. It's in a great spot between rue Varenne and rue de Grenelle and handy to many sights. My room was small (aren't they all?) but beautifully decorates although it didn't have a fridge. There wasn't a bar or lounge where I could have night cap but because I was only there for 2 nights I didn't bother investigating. The pastries for the complimentary breakfast were warm and yummy, and the staff most helpful with the Nespresso machine. The lift is very small and will only accommodate you and one case, and if you room happens to be near it you might find it noisy. A lucky find with Tripadvisor's help.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the top floor away from the lift.
