This hostel is well located between several metro stations and close to cafes. The good things end there. Firstly I had made my booking via email and had to change the dates about a month before I arrived. I received am email saying this was fine. When my friend and I arrived for a five night stay there was no record of our booking at first and then we were told our booking was for a different period and because we did not show we would lose the deposit. Luckily they had space. I had to go to another place the next day that had wifi to find the email from them before they would give the deposit back. The wifi at the hostel was not working nor any of the computers. The hostel had no trace of the 3 different emails they sent me .
When we arrived we were told to put our bags in the locker room but it turned out to be a laundry that also had 25 lockers of which only 4 were working! Everyone had to leave bags in pile in the middle of the laundry. There were about 15 bags there and lots of anxious looking people.
The room was a 4 bed female dorm that faced onto the road. The noise was dreadful from speeding motor bikes and cars all night. It was melting hot with the windows closed and no fan. There were 2 showers on the floor and only one had enough room to keep your closes dry. The toilets were a bit smelly.
The breakfast is basic but fine but there are no cooking facilities and no real lounge area or relaxing space. The wifi did not work the whole time we were there, the Internet kiosks were out of order most of the time and the staff did not try to help at all. They spoke little English.
The park opposite is full of homeless who hang around ingroups all day then sleep on the benches or in the vans lined up and down the street.
I would not recommend this hostel for longer than a one night stop over.
Might be ok for one night but no longer.
