“Great staff, wonderful location, good rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

As per another place we stayed, I've been meaning to review this one for ages, but just got too busy after our holiday. We had a simply wonderful stay here. When we arrived there was delicious wine for us as well as when we left. On my partner's birthday he actually received a lovely little gift, which we treasure as part of our stay in Paris. The hotel reception is 24/7, and both day and night they staff were lovely and helpful. They organised many of our bookings and gave us many useful tips. There's a laundrette nearby and lots of cafes and restaurants. (Highly recommend the Fish la Boissonnerie for dinner by the way! My partner had fish, but I had the most superbly cooked duck there and excellent wine.) We stayed in room 15 as recommended by someone else who provided a review. The door was a little hard to open and shut/lock, but the room was a comfortable size, and the bathroom was almost too big. Cleaned daily and well, though the cleaning staff had a bad habit of turning on the air-con. (Not sure why - I guess to clean the air out?? Yes it was summer, but this year July was actually pretty cool.) It made it quite uncomfortably cold at night, so we left a polite message and they never did it again. One night, unfortunately, we couldn't get into the hotel as there was only one person at reception and he had to lock the door so he could help someone in one of the rooms with their TV. He was very profuse in his apologies when he returned, though I do think the hotel should either provide a key to the outer door to guests or have a second person on reception at all times. Despite these niggly little things, I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris for the first time - simply wonderful!

Dear Madam,

Thank you for having taken the time to write such a nice review about the Millesime Hotel!

We are really pleased that you had a wonderful time in our hotel.

With regards to your comments about the lock, it is true that the system is a bit tricky and we will therefore replace it shortly. Thank you for having mentioned it!
Concerning night reception, we do indeed close the door for security reasons and the person in charge comes as quickly as possible once our customers ring the bell.
Please accept our apologies for any waiting delays.

Thank you once more for having highly recommended the Millesime!

We hope we may welcome you back one day…

HAPPY 2013

Kind regards

4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

We recently returned from a week stay at this hotel. The standard room we had (#14) was very private, comfortable and spotless. The staff, especially Inga and Valerio, were very helpful and informative. We purchased a package that included airport transfers which were very reliable and hassle free. It was nice not having to worry about arranging transportation to and from CDG. The only complaint we have wasn't the fault of the hotel but it did impact our stay. There was renovation work going on next door which would get rather loud at times even early in the morning. To sum it all up, the Millesime is a very charming three star hotel in a great section of St. Germain with good customer service and nice personal touches.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

I have stayed at the Millésime numerous times with both family and friends, most recently in November 2012, and have never been disappointed. The hotel is so conveniently located, near several métro stops, as well as within walking distance of many of the major sights, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel staff couldn't be more pleasant or accommodating. The supérior rooms are quite large, by Parisian standards, well-appointed, the hotel has been well-maintained, and has been recently been refreshed. The hotel is immaculate. There are a number of very nice touches that other reviewers have mentioned, such as a welcome bottle of wine, nougats on the pillow at night, macaroons for longer stays, and a variety of rate specials for longer stays. The front desk staff is great at providing information, whether for dining, directions or general advice. Thank you Inga, Giada and the rest of the Millésime staff for another incredible stay in Paris. See you all soon!

This was our second visit to the Millesime Hotel and we were as pleased with service and accommodations as the first time. The people on the front desk were most helpful with tickets, directons and getting us transportation to the airport. We enjoyed a nice breakfast in the dining room. The location is great for walking to sights, shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

I've been to Paris many times and have actually stayed in three different hotels on rue Jacob. I love the street with its upscale boutiques and quiet, yet vibrant feel. Everyone says their location is central, but rue Jacob really is. With the bus stop and metro close, getting around is easy. I always love being close to the Louvre and the d'Orsay. I also loved the extras in my room, like a big lighted magnifying mirror, coffee maker, stocked fridge and candy on my pillow each night. Loved the tub/shower combo. So relaxing after a day of walking. The staff is excellent. Happy, friendly and efficient. I will stay here again, I'm sure.

Room Tip: We booked a twin room with a third bed brought in. As another reviewer stated, twin beds are on the...

We were 3 women stopping in Paris on the way to Provence. We chose this hotel because of the good reviews and its location in the 6th arr.. We needed a room big enough for 3 people so we chose the Millesime Suite. It was perfect. Pllenty of room for us and our luggage. It was well decorated and very neat. The bathroom was great, especially for Paris. The shower had great volume. We did the tete a tete package which was a great value. It included breakfast, a metro ticket, and a boat cruise for each of us. We also got a transfer from the airport when we arrived. We were met at baggage claim and had a nice stress free ride to the hotel. The staff was all very nice and friendly. One thing with the suite is it is at the top of the hotel. The lift takes you to the 4th floor and then there is a narrow staircase of.about 15 stairs to carry your bags up. The breakfast is nice with fruit, cereals, breads, meats and cheeses. Coffee is brought to order. You can have it brought to your room if you prefer. The true plus of the hotel is its location an easy walk to tons of shops and restaurants. The metro is 5 minutes away. While in the heart of the area our room was incredibly quiet. We are all pretty picky travelers and were very happy with this hotel. One thing to note that was not a problem for us is that the twin beds were pretty small by U.S. standards. We all felt that if our husbands had been traveling they would have not fit very well in the beds. Someone in the breakfast room with us made a similar comment. Overall we really recommend this hotel.

Thank you for having shared such positive feedback with other travelers and for having given such a great description of the hotel and its different services!

We are all thrilled that we met your expectations so well, that you feel the hotel is great value and that you do really recommend the Millesime Hotel.

With regards to your comments concerning the little staircase to access the fifth floor, let me just specify that we will always be happy to help getting luggage up if needed.

I hope you enjoyed Provence as much as Paris and it will be a pleasure to the team to welcome you back one day!

Kind regards

The Millisome is an excellent hotel with a superb location. Easy walking distance to the Seine River, the Louvre Museum, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Although some of the rooms are small, they are comfortable and well laid out. The front desk staff are all conversant in English and are very helpful in giving recommendations for restaurants; directions to sights within the city; and transportation information. If you opt for the breakfast, it is served in a quaint basement dining room and includes a tasty array of breads, cheeses, coldcuts, cereal, juice, coffee and teas. For an extra fee, eggs may be added. There are many good restaurants and cafes within 2 or 3 blocks of the property. A small courtyard is available to guests who would like to relax with a beverage of their choice after a days sightseeing or shopping.
