I was initially concerned with the location of this hotel in relation to some of my favorite Paris experiences. Between the staff, the experience the hotel itself offered, and the local dining I was more than pleasantly surprised.
This hotel is full of charm and flair the likes of which you wouldn't expect at face value. Upon entering the hotel the staff was prompt, attentive, and accommodating. We arrived a bit too early to check in but the staff took our luggage, allowed us to enjoy the fantastic honesty bar (excellent wines, beers, and spirits), and apologized that they couldn't take care of us sooner (a gesture that was not necessary but was entirely appreciated).
When we entered our room we were stunned. A top floor room looking out across charming Paris with a luxury chalet charm, generous space, blend of modern and classic furnishings, and top notch finishes. The bathroom was gorgeous and as spacious as the room itself. This room easily accommodated my father, sister, and I.
The local restaurants, in particular an Italian restaurant just a skip away down the same street, were excellent in both service and flavor. Each morning we visited the Patisserie a few doors down where the Madame running the shop was patient with our crude French and inviting every day during our stay.
Metro stations provided easy access to all of Paris. Location was excellent. Service from the staff made staying in a genuine temptation.
Thank you for an excellent trip and we look forward to returning!
