“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful, and funny. The room was spectacular, the bed comfortable. Turn down service with chocolates very nice to see after a day of touring. The metro was just a block away, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional luxury stay while in Paris.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for two nights in the Marie apartment. Oh my word! AMAZING! When we were looking for a hotel a couple months back that is exactly what I wanted! The view was absolutely beautiful! The service was fantastic! This is a hotel we will definitely recommend and we will be back! Still stunned how lucky we were to have such an amazing experience.

This hotel is located in the surroundings of the champs élysées (aprox 20 blocks from the triumph arch ), the neighborhood is very quiet, with a metro station 50 mts from the hotel.
The rooms have a good size (ours had a desk and the bed and we have space to move around) and are very nicely decorated.
Our room faced the back of the building, to An internal courtyard very "French style" ,so if you like a more open view, the best option are the rooms at the front of the hotel

The most perfect hotel you could ask for in a beautiful and central part of Paris. We celebrated my thirtieth birthday here earlier this month and could not have chosen a better place for it. The room was stunning and so romantic, the hotel is intimate and very pretty with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. However, it was Fatia , a member of staff, that made our stay so special. She was incredibly friendly and helpful- we are very grateful to her. We stayed here after reading the reviews and are now very happy to endorse the hotel ourselves- we will return to Paris and don't think there is anywhere better to stay. Enjoy-if you choose this hotel-you will have a wonderful trip!

I stayed here with my fiancé in July 2009 and have nothing but positive things and superlatives for the hotel.

The room was very nice, cool design, especially the way the bathrrom was sectioned off yet it was still part of the room!

Breakfast was nice and set us up for the days of sightseeing and meandering around Paris!

We stayed at Hotel de Banville for 3 nights. From day 1 we felt the personal touch that the staff does such an excellent job of providing. I did not have to touch our enormous suitcase once from the time the cab driver took it out of his trunk until it was in our room, without even needing to ask for assistance. The manager on staff was also happy to help us locate a place to eat upon check in (we arrived at a late hour, around 11pm).

In terms of location, this hotel is 1 block from the metro, which made it easy to get everywhere we wanted.

The lobby was very nice, and it was wonderful to eat a delicious free breakfast (both continental and hot breakfast items!) in such a lovely setting every day. No need to make sure you get up early to not miss the breakfast, as it is held until 11am.

Our room was beautiful as well - we loved the hardwood floors and the modern shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was free of any disturbing noises or lights - we slept very well every night!

The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. The manager at one point even brought champagne to our room after we had a slight miscommunication (which was our fault, not theirs) regarding restaurant reservations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely look to stay here again for our next Paris visit. Thanks again, Hotel de Banville, for helping make our trip unforgettable!

We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and loved our time there particularly because of the people running the establishment. Very helpful and friendly. I regret that i did not get their names but from the reception to the chef and the wonderful lady running the hotel, they were all very helpful.

It is an intimate place, very small lobby which also doubles up as a breakfast place but the rooms are adequately sized. When we were shown to our rooms we noticed paint fumes as they had recently painted the room. On request the room was promptly replaced.

The location is a little offbeat but actually quite near to the Champ de elysees with good rail connectivity.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is travelling as a couple or with a kid.

The breakfast spread though was limited-the smallest in our European trip actually but the people more than made up for any shortcomings.

Room Tip: Ask the lady running the show:)
