“Couldn't of Picked a Better Place”

LOVED our stay at Hotel Duquesne Eiffel. We booked a superior room many months in advance for our honeymoon. I sent an email asking for an Eiffel tower view room and was told that they could not guarantee one unless we paid more. The extra price tag for the guarantee was a little out of our budget. Luckily, when we showed up, we were given room 15. Also, our room was ready very early, so we could check in after our long flight. I see alot of people complaining about the size of the room, but I thought it was just right. The hotel even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room to congratulate us :)

I loved that the toilet was in it's own room away from the shower and sink. Watch stepping down from the tub. I almost fell a couple times with my short legs. Also, it's a little easy to flood the bathroom too, so be mindful when showering.

The location was awesome. Just a couple blocks away from the metro, an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and very close to Rue Cler.- A great place to walk to and grab fresh breakfast every morning. Grocery store about a block away. Great to grab a bottle of wine and fresh bread and items for a picnic.

There is a Thai restaurant right next door/ underneath room 15 and the rooms next to it. It was a nice place. The cafe to the right wasn't as nice to us as some other reviewers on here.

They provide good body soap and hair dryer- so leave yours at home.

Great WiFi! Was able to reach home at the end of the day to send pictures and check in

We will def be booking with Hotel Duquesne Eiffel again for our next trip to Paris.

**Did not eat at the hotel. Hotel allowed us to bring in outside wine to drink in room.

Room Tip: Ask ahead of time for a room with a view. Also, let them know if you are celebrating a special occas...

Decided to spend 2 days and 1 night seeing Paris and couldn't have selected a finer hotel! Location is perfect and an approx. 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. In fact, we had a clear view of the ET from our room (35). First, the staff here is exceptionally accommodating and warm!! Had a minor issue with my flat screen and within minutes of calling the front desk, a technician was knocking at my door to resolve. Rooms are quite small but very well appointed, super comfortable, and very romantic!! I did not go for the breakfast @ 13 euro but not b/c of price. If you decide to stay here (and you should) be sure to ask for a corner room, particularly 3rd floor and higher for best views. Great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. This place is top notch and definitely where I'll lay my head on future visits to Paris!!

For my first time in Paris I couldn't find a better place. All attractions around, fantastic staff, special thanks to Alexandre who helped me find my phone I left in the taxi when I arrives. Will go back for sure and recommend the place.

I found the hotel very pleasant overall. The staff were friendly and helpful (not the stereotypical image of French customer service). My room was small, but comfortable with a lovely view of the Eiffel Tour. Everything is very clean and well maintained
The area is close to lots of sites and attractions, though fairly quiet at night.

We stayed three nights at Hotel Duquesne Eiffel in April. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet at night. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly - also English speaking. Lovely location with view of Eiffel Tower. We recommend highly.

We arrived to the hotel early and were surprised our room was ready. Granted it was on the back of the hotel, but after a long flight and bus ride, it was fine. It was probably quieter on the back side than on the side facing the street, The room was small, almost too small to walk around it, but with the limited time we spent there, it wasn't a big deal. The staff was accommodating, but the day staff was more personable than the night staff. The hotel is well kept. After the room was cleaned daily, someone would come around to ensure everything was alright. The room doors closed hard so when somebody was leaving their room, you could hear them slamming the door to get it closed. Although there was a safe in the room, it was almost too small to be practical About all one could put in it was money and passports. The safe key needed to get picked up at the front desk. The hotel is in a nice location with plenty of restaurants within a short walking distance and was easy to get to from CDG airport via the Rossy Bus and Metro. Some rooms appear to be smoking rooms, since smoke permeated the hallway on a couple of the days we were there. We couldn't smell it in our room.

My wife and I stayed here for four or five nights. The location itself is excellent. The view from the right rooms (and we also had one of those) was outstanding. So, what were the issues?

There was some type of odd flashing lights in the room, that eventually self-corrected. I still would have given four circles instead of three, except for one reason. Even though we booked through the hotel website, we later (like a month after checking out) received an additional booking charge from some place called 'bookassist.' When we protested, we were informed we had to pay this.

Come to find out that the 'fine print' says there will be a small booking charge from 'bookassist.' The charge was $49.62. That was more than 'small' and it would have been nice if this was easier for people booking through their website to see.

Room Tip: Book one of the rooms that view the Eiffel Tower.
