“Great Chocolate Mousse!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

After a busy day's sightseeing we decided we needed food and happened upon Le Wilson, seemed appropriate as we were going to the tennis the next day!
The service was good with friendly waiters and the food was good. Everything seems expensive in France, but these prices weren't too bad - considering! Try the chocolate mousse - it was lovely although my partner said the Creme Brulee was pretty good as well.

“Prime location, Good prices , average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2014

Le Wilson is located right on Trocadero which according to me gives the best views of Eiffel. We usually dont eat so close to such touristic spots as the food typically is average and rates high. However it was late night (about 930 pm) and it was raining heavily so we decided to give it a try.

The pluses - good location, prompt service, free wifi, good outdoor covered seating. The prices compared to other Europen prices were fine both for food and drinks. We ordered Pasta, Lamb Chops and Salmon. Lamb chops were good, Salmon ok and the Pasta was disappointing - overall the food was very average.

So all in all not worth a visit as you can always sit on the steps at trocadero and eat a sandwich or crepes for fift of the price.

“NICE SANDWICHES”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

We had a tour scheduled of behind the scenes of the Eiffel tower and decided to have lunch first. We found the restaurant to be filled with locals enjoying the food and the ambiance. We ate outside and ordered the salmon sandwiches...very nice, although for us the bread seemed a little chewy, the smoked salmon was delicious. The service was a little slow but gave us time to soak up the Parisian atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly, as well.
Great view of the Eiffel tower.

“Best food and service we had in paris ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

We were with our kids so all the great fancy places were off limits as they are picky eaters and would not try anything out there. Yes I know that kind of defeats the purpose of going to another country but with walking etc we always be exhausted and starving as well. This place has a outstanding location and we saw trip bother thing in the window so we decided to give it a try. The service was typical French however the manager took interest in us and keep us entertained and made sure we were taken car of. I have the onion soup which was outstanding and the kids ate spaghetti. My wife had a cheese plate. For dessert have the sorbet do with the lime sorbet being exceptional. The kids had some chocolate sundae met thing which they licked the spoons on. It is a great family option

“It was raining”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

We are not really adventurous or exciting eaters, so we don't seek out the top of the line places. Being out and about there wasn't time to consult reviews and pick an interesting place. We were enjoying the views of the Eiffel Tower when the skies opened up. We knew it was just a passing shower, but parents decided we could duck in here and try some French food. This was their first restaurant in France, and it is only their second Europe trip. They were put off by the service, which, as a frequent European traveler I found a little slow, but not to surprising. I think we all had the skirt steak thing, and I found the taste to be just fine. Nothing to scream about. The dessert that came with Mom's was disappointing to her and I didn't have a dessert. It was not an overwhelming introduction to the good food we would have later, but if you are not a food connoisseur this place will work out just fine.
