“Love this hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

We stayed in a Superior Suite. It was fantastic. There was a king-size bed for my husband and I, and a small room with a single bed for my adult daughter. The extra sitting room was quite large for an European hotel, as was the bathroom. The large shower, separate bathtub, and double sink were separate from the w/c. The front desk staff was very helpful. Airport shuttle was convenient.

Room Tip: In the sitting room there was a daybed, so could have accomodated a 4th person.

Hotel is located at a very convenient location, walking distance from Louvre and public transport. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Straight bus(#39) from the Railway station which stops at the stop Palais-Royal, hotel is just few steps from the stop. 3 Star small clean hotel, rooms are descent size in comparison to other hotels in the city. Overall a very pleasant hotel.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2012

We stayed in this lovely little French hotel for 7 nights in April. Just before we left, the April Travel and Leisure Magazine did an article on Paris's best hidden hotels and they made the cut - might be a little harder to book now, since it has only 20 rooms. We stayed in a Superior Double, and called the week before to request a remodeled room. They are almost finished, so I imagine remodeled rooms will be the standard now. We had a courtyard view, with big windows that actually open!
The location is superb - near the Louvre, Opera, and Palais-Royal. At least three really great metro stops are within a block or two, making it super easy and fast to get almost anywhere in Paris. It's on a quiet side street, but just a couple streets away from the action. The room iteslf was very large by European standards, with a great shower. The bed was on the firm side, but the room was decorated very "French" and very clean. The service from the staff was always friendly and prompt. Breakfast was avaialble and while we never ate here, the hotel smelled fantastic in the morning. It actually smells great all the time - hard to find in older buildings. When you leave for the day, you leave your key with the hotel - this was new to us, but adds security and you can't lose your key! We've stayed all over the world in all kinds of hotels, and this has quickly become a favorite.
All in all, a very economical and fun choice - book direct thorough the website for special deals. It's technically a 3-star, but nicer than many 4-stars we've stayed in.

We stayed at Hotel Moliere for 7 nights in March. We were upgraded from a superior double to a suite, which was wonderful to have the extra space. The bathroom was very large and modern. The decor was traditional French, beautiful and charming. The nicest and most helpful lady at the front desk, Aurore, was always eager to arrange reservations and check train schedules for us. Great location near the Louvre and Palais Royal and walking distance to the Opera, Madeleine, and Place Vendome. Near Metro stations Pyramides and Palais Royal.

This is a very French hotel that we spent three days in this month, and six years ago. We will continue to stay here for future visits. The location is terrific, being on a quiet side street very near the Louvre. The staff is very helpful and mostly speak English. Breakfast is provided, and is substantial enough even for us Americans. There are terrific restaurants literally within feet of the hotel. Rooms are small by American standards, but typical for a European (as opposed to giant chain) hotel. Amenities are good. We highly recommend this hotel.

This was a little charming hotel but nothing more than that. Location was good, close to the Louvre in a quiet street. I stayed 1 night in a small single with a very unconfortable bed (too hard for me) The bathroom was small with a shower but very clean and practical. I am going back to Paris in a few weeks and decided to try a different hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights. We booked 2 superior double rooms, one for me & my partner, and another for my parents. we noticed big difference between the rooms as one had been updated and the other was older and smaller.
Great location and within short walking distance to the le Louvre and other attrcations.
All in all probably around 3.5 stars but pleasnat enough and good service.
