This is a small hotel that I really recomend. Beautiful rooms with wonderful beds, nice wooden floors, clean and nice. They gave the "small extra" by offer free drinks, snacks, fruits and bisquits all day long. It was also very nice situated in the heart of Paris.

We stayed here Sept 10-13 2012. Overall great place to stay. Booked our room with breakfast included. Breakfast was decent, freshly squeezed juice, croissants, fruit salad, various cheeses and meats, cereal & milk, coffee and yogurt were there daily. Also, there was a snack bar available in the lobby during the day until around 10pm (soft drinks, water, juice, crackers, cookies etc..)

Room was small but adequate and accommodated our luggage just fine. We were in room 406 and had a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower if you opened the window and leaned out a bit (was even more beautiful at night.) Clean, bright, comfortable beds. The bathroom was large. The only thing is that was lacking a ventilation system. As of now things seemed to be okay but I imagine this could cause problems with water/mold in the future.

Also be aware that the elevator is very small, room for maybe 2-3 people. We sent our luggage up and then walked up the stairs after check in.

Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Very close to the metro, maybe a 3-5 min walk. Near Montmarte and Sacre Couer.

The staff was helpful for the most part. Although one person overnight informed us that we just needed to allow for 15mins to arrange taxi service the morning of our departure to Gare du Nord. However, this was totally off. Traffic in the morning in front of the hotel is horrendous. We informed staff 15mins prior to needing a taxi, as we were instructed, and were told by a different staff member that we should have allowed much more time. We made it to the train on time which was our biggest concern. I just think the entire staff should be more conscious of these things. Would have given an overall 5 except for this incident.

Room Tip: As for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

We stayed here recently for 3 nights and were impressed by the clean, modern feel of the place and the immaculate rooms. The staff were lovely and very helpful in organising an English speaking Dr who came very quickly when my friend was sick. Great spot, walking distance from Gare du Nord and very close to many Metro. Would most certainly stay here again!

This hotel has fairly small bedrooms, but bathrooms were very generous. Everything is immaculately clean and decorated to a very high standard. It was perfect for a weekend break, easy walking distance from Gare du Nord. We even had a very pleasant walk to the Louvre on the first morning. I must admit I would feel a bit claustrophobic on a longer stay but for a couple of nights this hotel is perfect. There is so much to do in Paris you really only need somewhere to sleep really.

I stayed with my boyfriend there summer of 2012. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is very close to the metro also which makes it a lot cheaper to get to many different sites in Paris. The staff are super nice and very helpful. The breakfast is also very yummy! Next time I go to Paris I will stay there again!!

The Palm Opera is a great base for discovering Paris, a calm, relaxed and friendly hotel, in a great location. We travelled to Paris from London on the Eurostar and walked approximately 15 mintues to the Hotel from the station. Staff were welcoming and friendly and our room was beautifully clean and modern, the bathroom spotless. My teenage son especially liked the free drinks available in the SMEG fridge in the Lobby and the free WiFi. Hotel staff also happy to keep our bags for the day when we checked out.The Hotel is located 10 minutes away from the Cadet Metro station making travel around the city really easy, We found a short cut through a small passage way between the buildings ( turn left and its about 20 meters down the street) this made the walk to the metro even quicker. We would definately recommend this hotel for a trip to Paris , excellent value for money and a pretty cool little hotel.

The Hotel Palm Opera was lovely. The room was a bit small but very comfortable. We had a lovely balcony. The breakfasts were delicious and the food was plentiful. The concierge was very helpful. The location was convenient to the Metro for travel all around the area. There were also some nice cafe's in the neighborhood, especially Odette & Aimee's. I would return here again anytime I get to Paris. We had a wonderful time. My only suggestion, typicallly American, we like to have access to ice and tissues in our rooms.
