“Perfect location for easy access to Pairs!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

My partner and I stayed here in June for a weekend for my 21st. I read reviews on here which slightly worried me! But i couldnt have asked for anything more from a hotel!
The room was small but perfect but us as we only used it to get some sleep as we were out from early morning until late at night. The bed was so comfortable I struggled to get up in the morning! Tea and coffee facilities were refilled each morning which was good as we didnt opt for the breakfast! One night we payed a few euros to watch a movie in our room (very good selection)
The metro is literally right across the street which we used for our transport which was absolutely ideal!
Staff at the reception were extremely helpful when we asked for easiest transport, routes ect. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again!

The homeless patronize this hotel. In an alcove of the hotel and across the frontage drive then homeless are living. Under the Timhotel signage is a alcove where a homeless family lives. I would think this is Timhotel property and they should manage the issue, but they were there our whole stay. I was were uncomfortable entering and leaving the hotel thru the graffiti ridden homeless camp. Breakfast was a joke…..the first day, mid breakfast time; all the hot food servings were empty and no one was to refill the 20 minutes I waited, and yes I did notify them. The second day they closed early. The third day we were there at opening, but the so called scrambled eggs already had a crust on top…….maybe setting since midnight. The rest of the food was all packaged food, the lowest quality I have ever experience. Although I paid for 3 days of breakfast, I ate none. The rooms, well, let say they are so small you would have a problem changing your mind, let alone your paints.
Stay Away from this place, and maybe any other Timhotel chain location anywhere else.
Oh, one more thing. Thanks ”Gate1 Travel / Virgin Travel” for putting us up in such a lovely place.

Dear Sir

Firstly I we would like to thank you for your important comments, and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and as requested we refund all your stay.
Also I would like to inform you that we have made the necessary inquiries and inform the police and our mayor for the homeless in front of the hotel.

Regarding the breakfast we are sorry to learn through tripavisor of the problems encountered during your stay and sincerely apologize.

We have careful looked into these various issues and taken the necessary measures in order to ensure that such incidents do not reoccur. In fact we are very surprised about your comment on the quality of the food. We serve nearly 400 breakfasts by day and your comment on the quality of the food is the only one we received for this period.
Be sure that the food is not packaged but fresh.

This does not reflect the standards and quality Timhotel

Sir we reiterate our sincere apologies for having been unable to make your stay as comfortable as it should have been.

Sincerely

as per usual i read the reviews on the hotel, got a bit worried after reading them, we didnt know what to expect when we got there.
but the room was very clean had everything we needed, hairdryer tea and coffee making facilities two chairs so we could both sit and have a drink and snack in comfort.
first morning breakfast was chaotic,no cups, glasses, nothing much left at all as it happens we were travelling with a coach party so our guide sorted it out for second morning. was a bit disappointed in the breakfast though have seen better continental breakfast.
plenty of transport links to all attractions plenty of local shops also, pity about the family of beggars who were camped out on a mattress in front of hotel. small children were sent by the parents to pester everyone all the time. it was very sad to see social services would have been involved in this country.
i would use this hotel again very friendly.

Hotel staffs are so friendly and provided so many helps to us when we were in Paris. We asked for information of Metro, RER, airport, museum hours, grocery stores and restaurants near by. Everytime we got satisfied answers as well as detailed marks on our map.
One more thing to mention is that I left my wallet in the safe (it's open) when I left in the morning, and I got email from front desk staff around noon time. All cards/IDs/Cashes are there when I returned to hotel to take it back. Thanks so much for your helps.

Room Tip: this hotel is just across the street to Metro & RER station, which is your daily travel start fr...

This hotel is very nice, nothing special but nice, clean and with a very welcoming staff. The metro is just across the road and is quick to get you into the centre which is as well as the area it is in is not really for tourists and the cafes and restaurants are not good.Unfortunately neither is the hotel's restaurant, especially the buffet, which was far from value for money. I would stay again, no problems.

Remember the metro stop is PORTE de Clichy not Place de Clichy.

We recently stopped in this Hotel (me, my husband and two children 3&7 yrs).
We had booked a family room which consisted of two adjoining (small) twin rooms.
The first rooms we were given had a slight ant problem in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful & immediately moved us, but unfortunately there were no other adjoining rooms, so we ended up having to split the children up and have one in each of our rooms. Not ideal.
The area is not at all touristy, which we liked, but might be an issue for some. Local bars and restaurants easy walking distance. Metro line was directly opposite, which made getting around Paris a breeze once you got used to it.
We did not eat in the hotel, breakfast at 13 euros was a little expensive for four of us each day, so we preferred to go to the local cafes or patisseries which were great.
Basic accommodation but clean & staff very pleasant & helpful. Good as a base to see Paris.

Room Tip: Not guarantee of adjoining rooms...make sure you specify if really needed. Rooms at the front of the...

I couldnt be more pleased with the hotel.

The reception were helpful (Marion was particularly so). Maps, printouts provided as and when needed. I forgot my camera once in the reception area, but was able to trace it quickly. The food in restaurant was decent.

Rooms were clean and tidy, though a bit small. The hotel is located next to a metro and rail line.

It was warm in Paris and there were mosquitoes, but take repellant next time.

Overall, fabulous hotel for decent prices
