Great hotel. recommended for couples. Everything was perfect, the rooms are small but very charming. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Pay the extra for a room with a view, its worth it. Great location aswell.

We have just returned back from 4 days in Paris, with myself and two children. This hotel totally lives up to its name. Well located by the Arc de Triomphe with a number of rooms that have an excellent view of the Arc.
We travelled by metro to the hotel from the Gard du Nord (did Eurostar from London) and the hotel is located immediately in front of an elevator so easy access with luggage on wheels and easy access to the rest of Paris.
We stayed in a triple room which was perfect. Our room was large with a seperate area to store our suitcases and plenty of space for clothing. The bathroom was 'awesome' (in the words of my 12 year old daugher!). With very powerful shower and very clean. It faced the front of the hotel on the 6th floor and I was amazed how quiet it was, even though it is on a relatively busy road. My friend also had a triple room at the back of the hotel. This room was even bigger and the bathroom configuration was a little different and equally as good. Cleanliness is a common theme throughout this hotel and the maid service is very impressive and should be commended.
You will notice other comments about Farooq, the head of the concierge. This gentleman certainly contributed to the success of our stay. Giving us pertinent information that helped us save money and guided us to the best places to eat and see. The other staff were also incredibly helpful. No question or request appeared too much and we were always greeted with a smile.
I have to admit we were nervous about using this hotel given we booked it totally based on tripadvisor.com's recommendation. But we needn't have been worried, we will return for sure.

Anyone visiting Paris should stay in this hotel, the location is perfect, the hotel is immaculate and charming and we cannot say enough about the service. Farooq and the entire staff were welcoming,
helpful, and very generous. If you want an amazing Paris experience, stay here!

The Splendid Hotel is 10 minutes away from the Champs-Elysées and is closed to the Avenue des Ternes which is apparently one of Paris's famous merchant avenues. The room was beautiful and we had a good enough view on the Arch of Triumph (by night it is magical).
Besides, after days of research, the best price I had found for this hotel was on a local website which is called 123france [-]. The basic price was 200 Euros, which is 30% less than what the other websites offer for the splendid.
