“great stay - too short”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We only were able to stay in Paris one night (off the south of France) but because the hotel has a great location - we could walk to the Eiffel Tower, Napoleon tomb, the Seine, many places to eat, and of course Rue Cher. The service was good and breakfast was good. The room was a little larger than I expected. My glasses frame broke, and I found a place on Rue Cher that was able to replace them in an hour. Totally unexpected.

Room Tip: A map and detailed information was helpful for taxi from CDG.

The second night there we experienced a leaky toilet and being a Sunday, no plumber was available. They offered to change rooms for us, but the room available was smaller, and we elected to stay put, assuming it would be fixed the next day. We got home late from a day of Paris adventures and it could not be fixed, and no other room options now available.

The manager and staff were very accommodating, making the best of a situation beyond their control. I would recommend this hotel for location, amenities and staff helpfulness.

We spent two nights recently at this small hotel following a cruise on the Seine River. Upon arriving in the morning before our rooms were ready, the hotel staff brought us coffee and juice in the reception area. Our room was a decent size, with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom and everything else we needed. The best part was the location, near the Eiffel Tower, a metro station and the Rue Cler -- a well-known quaint street only a block away with many restaurants, small shops and food markets. Although it was not inexpensive, the hotel was a good value and just what we needed for our last two days in Paris.

Small boutique hotel in a great area. It's about a kilometer from the Eiffel Tower and in an area that has many restaurants. Staff were helpful. Rooms were small but had all that was needed. It's an older hotel with the metro and bus close by so it's easy to get to all attractions.

Our first two days at the hotel were perfect, with helpful staff and an amazing room. On days 3 to 5 we were disappointed to be confronted by unhelpful front desk staff, and unannounced changes in timing of breakfast making us nearly miss a tour. Our room was not cleaned one day, and the next day it wasn't cleaned until we made an issue of it on our way out to dinner. One guest was trapped in the elevator for over an hour waiting for the repair man, and it was jerky after the repairs. Breakfast was great each day.

We loved our stay at your hotel. The location was wonderful and our room was very comfortable. I loved the view of the Eiffel Tower from our window. Christian was extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Fantastic!

Centrally located, clean and comfortable. The rooms are a little bigger than usual for a Paris hotel with independtly control A/C and automatic shutters for privacy. The bathroom is larger than typical and pretty comfortable. As with small hotels your going your going to hear all the doors in the floor and loud guest coming and going. If you have the opportunity to have a top floor room you will have a nice view of the tower and enjoy the lights at night. The hotel is closed to brasseries, cafe and patisserie. There is a nice patisserie in the corner with delicious pastries. Subway stop is five minutes away walking. This hotel is a good choice for anyone.
