“Great stay in Paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

The location of this hotel is excellent. There are numerous restaurants within a small area. It is only a 15-20 min walk to the Louvre. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. We stayed in a family room which was spacious, clean and very quiet.

We stayed in the Tryp Paris from 17 December through 20 December 2013 and were very happy with our stay. We stayed on the 6th foor. The room was nice and had two twin beds (pushed against each other), a large bathroom and a balcony overlooking the street. There was a small armoire, a desk, mini-fridge and flat screen tv (no dresser). It was clean and the service was lovely. Standard, small, European elevator; we fit two people with two tote bags in at once (that was the max). Everyone we dealt with spoke English (even late at night). They were very nice, helped us with any questions we had. They even offered to print some paperwork out for us at no charge. Internet was free of charge for us. There is an available internet area and a spot to charge anything you needed in the lobby. The Grande Boulevardes Metro stop is right out front and some food places as well. Very convenient to access the rest of Paris. It was a great stay and we will definitely be back!!

Room Tip: Some rooms have balconies overlooking the street. They are a nice extra and there was not a lot of...

Good location, very friendly staff. Family rooms ok but in need of renovation. Free wifi but it was slow. Would stay at the hotel again because of the good location with a metro station right outside, plenty of restaurants in the area and walking distance to major turist attractions.

adequate choice for a one night stay. room could be cleaner but was adequate. nothing outstanding. check-in was some slow with muliple replies that it would be just one minute. one minute turned into a 20-30 minute wait. to get to the elevator three steps had to be climbed with heavy suitcases. location excellent. staff very friendly and helpful other than check-in. room was down a small corridor beyond a closed door. i requested a quiet room and the only noise i heard was loud door banging early in the morning. small room with limited storage, but comfortable bed and bathroom. no bathroom amenities like at other hotels. would possibly stay again for the right price but certainly not my first choice.

We stayed in August last year just before flying out to India. This hotel was central to most of the attractions. The staff was helpful and polite although they don't speak much English.

Make sure the air con works as the rooms do get a little hot in Summer.

Room Tip: Book the night time tour by car - get the hotel to book it for you or save 10 euro's and book it...

Real good location. Highly recommend to others. Hard Rock Cafe is opposite and great Irish bar next door. It was quite noisy at night, we were on 3rd floor but mainly other guests and Saturday night noise outside..

Perfectly located by the Opera and with access to metro just steps away. Nice clean rooms. Very quiet during my stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great service with a smile. Free Internet and newspapers. Many nice little restaurants nearby. Overall, I'm happy to have found this hotel. Stayed at Tryp hotels before and was mostly satisfied as well.
