“7 days' stay in late Oct 2011”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2011

I will return to this hotel in my next visit and will highly recommend to my family and acquaintances.

My stay in premium double room is fantastic. Unless other hotels (in paris) providing less than 80 sq feet for their double room, the room size (nearly 200 sq feet) of this hotel together with high ceiling and tall/wide window gives you very comfortable feeling. Room size is a very important criterion in choosing hotel in Paris. The feeling of the furniture impress you with high class atmosphere. The bed is solid/hard enough for Asians. The bath room is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The lobby is bright and sharp and thus gives comfortable feeling.

Improvement can be made by adding more lights for studying and reading purpose, free wi-fi for mobile/cell phones and Ipad, and toilet should have washing basin for washing hands. Cream soap should be checked daily for ensuring availability of cream inside.

Room Tip: Room size in Paris is a very important criterion.

hotel was fine, although breakfast is expensive at 19.5 euros. Each! Pris is a great place to visit, but expensive. This hotel was good value, comfortable, and despite the noisy weekend streets, our room which was facing it was quiet, due to the sealed windows. We used it as a base, so basically just slept there. Metro stop right outside, and if you buy a "carnet" pack of ten tickets, it's great value. The bars have "happy hours" when the prices are comparable with the UK. however the prices for drinks are outrageous. Ten euros for a beer on the Champs Elysee. 20 euros for a bottle of wine, even in middle range restaurants, and this is the country that produces wine!visit the Eiffel tower, the Louvre, take a boat down the Seine, and a city tour, you wont be disappointed.

Room Tip: e-mail ahead, the staff are very helpful

A small entrance, a reception that doesn't look promising and a great hotel! Good and spacious rooms with King size beds, excellent shower, clean and a good decoration. It's a pity they have Internet connection only via cable!

Excellent breakfast and good service. A very good option in the middle of Paris, 5' to the Opera, 5' to the Madelaine and the underground in front of the hotel door.

We have just returned from 5 days stay in TRYP François. I should say in their defense that most of Paris hotels are having similar kind of problems unless you are ready to spend above 300 eur per night.
Properties are quite old and not well mantained. Since I carried a baby chair, immediately I realized that this hotel is not ready for that. Even for reaching the lift you need to climb 10-15 steps. Lift size is barely like a shoe box. Family rooms are larger than standard ones (which is not much to say). Depending upon room location it can be quiet or quite noisy. This is my third stay here and unfortunately it was the noisiest one.

But, maybe I may return. Price is reasonable, metro is 5 meter away of the door (literally), it should be more than 100 restaurants in less than 1km, and of course, the heart of Paris is just walkind distance. This makes you consider it as a good choice.

We had a few days in Paris and stayed here. As previous travellers say some of the rooms are very small and in need of a bit of an update but what is lacking here is made up in other areas. The staff are super efficient and very helpful. The location is excellent although if you want a quiet night ask for a room not overlooking the main road. Ours at the back of the hotel was very quiet and we were pleased to have some decent air con . Fab restaurant Chez Papa close by with traditional French cuisine if you like duck . Also some good places for breakfast if you dont want to pay hotel prices which at 19 euros per person is steep - try Brioche Doree across the road about 4 euros - great value and super coffee.

We stayed at TRYP Paris Francois Hotel for our honeymoon in August. The hotel is located right next to the metra exit, so it's really convenient.

The room we had was rather small. Basically just a bed that's all. Before booking this hotel, I've read some reviews saying that it could be quite noisy at night. I guess since our room faced the back side of the street, it was very quite. I'd rather to have a room facing the street--that's just my personal preference. The hotel staff was very helpful and they speak great English. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, which was what we did. Everything was about 15-30 minutes walk away. If you prefer to take Metra, it's right outside the door of the hotel, so no compliant at all.

There are tons of restaurants, bars, and cafes on the street where the hotel is on.

Overall, great experience.

My sister & I spent there one night (sat to Sunday) & found the hotel to be great & the stuff very helpful. I’m used to go to hotels in Paris & found this one to be in a very good location, the modern AC was a blessing, the price just perfect for a great hotel like that & most importantly the rooms were very big & had decent bathrooms. It’s less than 10 minutes walking from “la place de l’opera”. The metro just outside the hotel is very convenient as it covers a large part of paris.
We didn’t get the breakfast buffet there as it costs 18 euros/person, I heard it was delisious but I found it to be really expensive, there is a nice place called “la brioche doree” just across the street where you can have very nice breakfast for less (they also have plenty choices of sandwiches & pastries) but they were closed on Sunday so we went to starbucks coffee on the same street side but a bit down.
The only downside is that we got a room looking toward the main avenue & it really got noisy at night. I had my earplugs & my sister can’t sleep without her music so that wasn’t an issue for us, but ask for a quite room on the opposite side if that’s a problem for you.
