This was a really poor hotel, I can't recommend a thing about it except that it's very convenient to the Metro. The room was incredibly small--there was probably 1 foot between the bed and the wall. No closet--just an alcove with a shelf and clothing rod; only 4 hangers and they wouldn't give us any extras. We asked for extra pillows and got arguments instead; I ended up taking some pillows from another room when it was being cleaned. The breakfast cost 8 euros (right now about $13) and was extremely ordinary. There is a room coffee maker but they were inconsistent about restocking with coffee/cream each day. No fridge. The internet access was broken for the entire 6 days of our stay. A/C worked well and despite being on a busy street there was adequate soundproofing so you could sleep. The worst part was when we left. We asked the desk clerk to call us a cab to arrive at 12:30 to take us to Gare Lyon--just a short hop, it should have been less than 10 euros for the trip. She told the cab to come at 11:30 instead. When we got downstairs the cab was parked in front WITH THE METER RUNNING, had been there almost 1/2 hour, and there already a 15 euro bill before we even set foot inside! The clerk refused to take any responsibility and retreated into her "I don't speak English" mode. Because we had a lot of luggage and a train to catch we took the cab but ended up having a ridiculous bill to pay. Not recommended at all!

I think some people just cant be please so they complain about everything. I found the hotel to be fine for what it was, and that's a place to sleep after a night out. I had a comfort room which was a room with a double bed, a/c , shower, hair dryer, flat screen tv. The beds were twins and togather it looked like I had a full bed in the room. It had a closet so I put my suitcase in there and the bathroom was quite LARGE. The room was also VERY clean.

It was very easy to find the hotel from the airport. I took the RER from CDG then transfer to the M 10. The hotel is indeed in front of a train station and a busy street and I had a room at the front of the hotel and it didn't seem to bother me come sleeping time. After 11pm at night the street in front of the hotel there is not much traffic and same things goes for the above ground M5 train.

I never had breakfast at the hotel as I get in late and didn't wake up until after noon so that wasn't for me. I would leave my room at 3pm and took down my do not disturb sign and when I come back the room would be clean and it even happened on a sunday so the maid does work and she changed towels.

The people at the front desk were really nice and I have no complains about them. The hotel was exactly what I was looking for and at a good rate. It was a really nice location and no one bothers u. It's right next to the metro and the bus that takes u to the eiffel tower. Clean place, It's not a Marriot but then again I'm not paying $400 a night.

This hotel was comfortable, very clean, and very well maintained. We got a great deal on the price as it was, then we were upgraded to a bigger room when we arrived. For your average no-frills traveler, this was a great place to stay.

If I was more temperamental, I would have been annoyed at the number of times I was told "no" by the staff. Can I have an extra pillow? (No, the housekeepers are gone.) Do you know of somewhere nearby where we can do our laundry? (No.) (Really, she just said no. I had to ask again the next day to get a suggestion of a place sort of nearby.) Do you have an iron we can use? (Yes, but it is missing.) Do Not Disturb? (They came into our room twice when the sign was up ... took out dirty towels but didn't replace them with clean?!)

Regardless, it was a good price for a clean and comfortable room, and the metro was literally 20 paces from the front doors.

Booked the hotel via bookings.com;
the location is perfect, close to the subway, the Seine, the Gare d'Austerlitz. The room I had was small, but good enough. Had a room on the backside, so no noise problems. Good basic hotel.
