The general location of the hotel was good, though unfortunately that's where it ended. The Hotel is more like a 3 star rating. The customer service was extremely poor by charging extra fees even though the room was prepaid. When we ordered a metered taxi to take us to the airport a chauffeur service arrived to pick us up> ordinarily this would be a good service except for when you see the driver providing the reception guy a cut of your fare which is well over priced and not what you asked for... Stay away...
4 star hotel??? I don't think so. The room was very small and the furniture was more dated than antique. The tv was stuck on the wall between the door to the room and the bathroom so which ever door you opened it hit the side of the tv. Nowhere to put your clothes. It felt as though a boxroom had been made into a bedroom. We think we spotted the Eifel Tower over the large building that was the view from the room. The parking is also €25 a day and not included in the price. It was very disappointing as I had booked the hotel as a surprise for my husbands Birthday. Do not stay here.
Well it really wasn't very good.
Very expensive hotel and you expect more of a "4 star" - for starters there is no restaurant, and I wouldn't call a counter with a handful of bottles on it a "bar". There is no foyer as such - no washroom facilities other than your room. The "jacuzzi" bath was not big enough for an average sized adult. Leaking shower door.
18 euros for a breakfast consisting of coffee and a croissant. Please!
Furniture and finishings extremely shabby and chipped. Tiny bed. "View" of the Eiffel Tower debatable.
On the plus side, I cannot fault the location, it was really ideal.
And the staff were very helpful.
However I would not stay here again.
The most terrible hotel I've ever stayed. Tiny, dusty room with the only source of air being extremely noisy air conditioner... No shelves to place your stuff, so you have to put you suitcase on the floor and jump over it if you want to get though, because there is just no space there. Mini-bar not working. The furnuture looks antique, one has to admit that, so if you've always wanted to spend a night in museum and the amount of money you would pay for a "real" 4-star-hotel please feel welcome. But if you hope for a romantic weekend there, just forget it.
