“didn't like the room”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

The reception staff was welcomed but the room wasn't good quality. Old fashoned (from 1970?), no capboard, Tiny bathroom with a toilette installed very high... not comfortable...
Good location.
too expensive for the quality of service they offer.

Dear Guests,

We thank you for your comments.

We would like to inform you that parisian standard rooms are not very large, this is typical. However, we have superior rooms at the hotel if our standard room is not suitable for you.

Regarding the decoration, we are more traditional than contemporary and most of our guests like that as they can find contemporary decoration in their country.

Our sytle is more frenchy than international and we regret that you do not appreciate it.

We remain at your disposal for any further information.

With our best regards.

E.Pigneux.

We spent three nights here, and it was a very pleasant experience. Our room was quite reasonably-sized and comfortable, and the staff was nice and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and good-tasting, and if we were to return to Paris looking for a hotel in this price range, we would easily stay here again. We liked the location, and while you're not going to think that you stayed at a Four Seasons, it was clean, cozy, and very comfortable.

Just back from 4 days in Paris staying at the Aida Opera Hotel, I have stayed in at least 20 hotels in Paris down through the years and I have to say I loved this hotel more than any other hotel I've stayed in.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends , everyone working at the hotel were lovely and very pleasant, they went out of their way to make your visit as smooth and happy as possible .
Having stayed in many hotels in Paris I was expecting the usual small hotel room but to my amazement it was very large as big as any I've seen in any other country , plenty of room to walk around , a massive double bed, a wardrobe each for myself and my wife , also a safe and a 32 inch LCD screen TV.
Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from....but a bit pricey at 15 euro each....try if you can to get Breakfast included in the price.
I will without doubt stay at this fine hotel again........and sooner than later
Well done to all the staff at the Aida

This might not be your 5 star hotel but it was a very clean, cosy and wonderful experience. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and there is such a welcoming atmosphere. It is the best choice if you are looking to be close to kosher restauraunts, its also only a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro. Overall a very pleasant experiece.

Wonderful staff, and very clean room! As with other hotels of this age and type, not all rooms are the same. We booked a double room, and the pictures show just how small it was. We had to turn sideways to walk next to the bed. However, everything was very clean and comfortable!

Don't expect to check in or out in a hurry, as we never saw more than one person at the front desk who was (very cheerfully!) managing the whole hotel. We did not eat at the hotel, as there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. Several metro stations are located within a 5-10min walk.

We were very impressed with the location of the hotel, close to station and walking distance from most places of interest. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well equipped with spacious rooms and good bathrooms and showers. The breakfast was good. Good variety and a juicer so we could squeeze fresh oranges each morning. Only fault here was the toaster was very slow and it would have been nice to have warm croissants. We had a great stay and will definitely use this hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing out ward as there is a good view from the higher floors.

I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Hotelier and the Personnel for the great hospitality!
Really nice Hotel: personnel is very polite, friendly and helpful, the breakfast is plenty and variable: cereals, two kinds of cheese, fish, tomatoes, eggs, milk, sour cream, yogurts, oil, butter, breads, tea, coffee (real and great espresso!), four kinds of fruit ( apples, banana, oranges, kiwis),etc, apparatus for toasting. After such a full and wholesome meals I could not feel the need to have lunch and dinner throughout these days:)
The location is wonderful: in the very center, close to metro station, close to Opera (15 min. walk), a lot of restaurants and stores around.
The room is cozy, it has a wardrobe, a small table and bedside tables . As well as rooms contain free safe, refrigerator, electric kettle and a tray with cups, tea bags, sugar and milk. Bathroom is quite spacious, towels are changed every day.
And finally, it was absolutely quiet, that I really appreciate, and for this - my special thanks!
If I have chance to visit Paris again, I will certainly choose the Hotel Aida Opera!

Room Tip: When booking the room I asked fore silent room, and this wish was satisfied. I recommend to book on...
