“Great Kosher hotel in Paris. ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

This is a great place. We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bed was great and huge. And above all the big bath was a pleasure. I was amazed by the size of the room, it was really big and beyond my expectations. The hotel breakfast is Kosher, which was very good for us. From what I heard we got a specialy good room number 9. The hotel is located about 10 min walking distance from the metro station, which is a little long, but still okay. We hope to be back to this hotel.

Good location close to lots of restaurants and shops etc, and staff were polite. Rooms however were very dated (not in a charming way), covered in wood paneling and unattractive colours. The bath/shower was a bit of a joke. The bath would only be big enough to use if you were under 4.5 feet. the shower head over the bath span uncontrollably if you turned the water on - so you had to hold it in order to shower. I certainly wouldn't stay again - i'm sure you can get much better for your money

My fiance and I got this hotel last minute , changing from Hotel Aida Marais. Tina was very friendly at the reception and welcomed us well. The room was large enough for two with a fridge and rooms cleaned daily by friendly maids:) Moild on the roof near the shower in the bathroom, due to no ventilation and no slippery eith no drain on the floor. Scaffolding was slightly annoying with workers starting around 8:30am and ruining the view of the street. No smoking except out on the street which was an inconvenience, but common in Paris I think. Its about an hours walk to Eiffel Tower (brisk walk) ! But metros are 10 minutes away.. its about 30minutes on there. Overall average on a budget for three stars.
Thanks!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel - on arrival the concierge was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the courtyard/atrium and was very quiet - the room itself was very small as was the bathroom (we were aware that rooms in Paris are very small in comparison to Australian hotels). When we first opened the door to the room and then the bathroom we were hit with a foul odour - we bought a can of air freshener and used it on a regular basis - I believe the smell was coming from the drains as it was worse in the bathroom. We had a/c in our room which worked very well when we needed to use it and we had a window which we could open for fresh air. We appreciated the safe, tea/coffee making facilities and the fridge in the room.

Room Tip: Ask for an inside room with a window to avoid street noise.
