“Thankfully a short stay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

We stayed at the Hotel Elysees Union for 2 nights. Paid quite an amount of money to stay here and feel as if it was absolutely not worth it. Very disappointed. Only good thing I have to say is that it is only a short walk to Arc de Triomphe/Champs Elysees. Trying to find a seat at breakfast proved difficult and was very crowded. We would not stay here again on return to Paris.

Stayed here in October 2013 for our honeymoon. Overall nice stay. Very convenient location. Easy 10-12 minute walk to the Eiffel tower or Arch de Triomphe. Also, a metro station is a 2 minute walk away.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The exception would be the staff at breakfast. not pleasant at all. breakfast consisted of croissants and breads with jelly and Nutella, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee/tea. It wasn't anything fancy but was free.
One downside was that they charged for internet access. It's 2013 people, free internet in a hotel should be standard.
Rooms were small (as most in Paris from what I hear) but clean and comfortable. Could use a little updating but not too bad.

We have just got back from 2 nights in Paris staying at the Elysee union.
The hotel is nice, clean, although a little dated in the rooms. The staff were all very pleasant.

There was some noise in our room as they were laying new carpet in the halls and the walls were thin so we could hear the people in the room next door as I'm sure they could us. The bed was really comfortable and there were some toiletries In the bathroom.

The hotel is in a fab location. It took us 10 mins to walk to the Eiffel Tower and about 5 mins from the Arc de triomphe. There are a couple of little bistros close by and a amazing bakery (come out of hotel turn right and it's across the road) with yummy cakes. A supermarket is next to the hotel where we got water etc as the mini bar in the room was really expensive.

The breakfast was included and it was pastries, fruit and cereal, yogurts and drinks. You could get cooked food if you wanted to pay extra.

The Hotel isn't luxury but if you want a good base which is reasonably priced for a short break, its great.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights after we got married in December 13. after travelling through the night and all of the morning without sleep ( we travelled from Liverpool to Manchester ,then flew from Manchester to Paris, setting off at 2am ), we were absolutely shattered and just wanted to sleep, however when we arrived at the hotel we learned check in wasn't until 2pm, it was now only 11am, we sat in the very comfortable foyer waiting while fiddling on phones and iPads trying to waste time, however not ten minutes later staff told us our room was ready and we could check in early (music to our ears).
After unpacking we went out for a couple of hours getting a bite to eat, on return to the hotel the staff were waiting for us, it seemed while waiting for our room we had left our iPad on the foyer table, such honest staff made sure it was returned, we did t even know it was missing!
Hotel room was very clean, small yet not cramped, with such an excellent view of the Parisian streets with the world famous Eiffel Tower literally at our doorstep.
We found this to be the ideal destination for tourists literally in the middle of all tourist destinations.
Staff were more than helpful with information on the metro system and anything else we asked.
There's also a little shop next door that we found ideal to buy little amenities
All in all a very cheerful little hotel In a fantastic place for tourism

Staff were lovely, location was amazing. Great option for a family. We have 3 children & stayed in 2 bedroom apartment. Rooms were small but sufficient, decor was tired but it was clean & comfortable. Would stay again.

We stayed at the family apartment since we're a family of six it was very convenient to stay in one place rather then splitting in different rooms which we usually do in Europe. The location was absolutely amazing and quite unbelievable for the price. We stayed in two apartments the first one was a bit old and not very clean but it had two showers. Anyways, we had a water leaking from the washing machine and we moved to another apartment which was much newer and nicer but only had one shower and can't be reach by the lift which might be a problem for some people but it was worth it for us. Breakfast was basically a basket of bread, a small selection of cheese and jam, some fruits, yogurt and very bad coffee. One of the ladies in the breakfast was a bit rude but good thing she wasn't there everyday. At checking out the I forgot to hand back the keys and the hotel started emailing me and threaten to charge my credit card in a very rude way. I sent the key back to the hotel after two days but I haven't heard anything back from the hotel. Other then that everything so great. I highly recommend if you're a family with kids or just want to stay together.

Very friendly staff, small rooms but ideal location. Really enjoyed staying here very close to arc de triumph, champs elysees. Even had a view of the Eiffel tower. Reasonable price, would stay here again.
