“All around wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

Amazing location!
We had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower from our room and the Arc de Triomphe & Champs de Elysses were a short walk away (5 minutes or so). There were lots of restaurants and a couple of Metro stations very nearby as well.
The staff was so hospitable and made us feel safe and at home.
Breakfast was phenomenal, with fresh bread, fruit and orange juice included each morning.
There is no where else in Paris that I will stay!

Spent 1 night at the Élysées Union during a outing to Paris while in London for 8 days. The location of the hotel is convenient to the Eiffel Tower, Arch, Champs, Louvre...all of the stuff on that side of town. Metro stop just minutes away or walk to #1 line up by the Arch. Lots of restaurant options very close by.

Our room was only average. It was showing its age. A tad on the small side even for Paris standards. We had to do a little "dance" to slide into the toilet room & get the door shut. Since we were only staying 1 night during a quick trip, location was important. So was price since we didn't check out of our London hotel during the "day trip" plus, we knew that wouldn't be in hotel but just for a few hours to sleep. We had stayed at the Hotel Duret a few years ago during a 1 week visit and decided not to go back this time for location (it's about 1 mile north & west toward La defense. After seeing the Elysees room we regretted the decision.

The staff was very nice & attentive. The breakfast was average. Have to take away some marks for €13 per day wifi charge. Given the aging facilities I'd have to rate it below average ( 2-1/2 stars if half stars were allowed)

Room Tip: Don't accept 119.

Very nice people, speaking a lot of languages, providing the best service and Paris experience. Amazing location, very close to the bus stations, and attractions. You are at walking distrance from eiffel tower and get an amazing view from the balcony of it

Room Tip: there are just a few rooms for more than 2 people, book with enough time

Stayed for a week in December 2012 and had a great experience. The decor in the rooms and breakfast area is very chic and up to date. Room was small but comfortable - on the 6th floor with a great view of the Eiffel Tower! Bathroom was great and was clean from what I noticed. Mini-bar was full but didn't seem to actually be cooling anything. Staff were great! Spoke English, were always present at the desk, and were helpful when it came to organizing our stay. The breakfast was big on carbs but quite good for continental - lots of croissants/bread, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee/tea. The location is awesome - 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe and a 2 minute walk to the metro - using it, you can get to the Eiffel Tower and many other main attractions within half an hour. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Room Tip: Try to get the 6th floor! Room 617 had a great view of the Eiffel Tower but the windows were directl...

Its location is great, takes 10 minutes of walk to both Arc de Triomphe and Trocadero which is the best place for watching Eiffel Tower.
Staff was nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean. The minibar was full. Bathroom stuff was enough and clean. The room was a little small because of the extra bed but all were comfortable. It has an LCD TV with intl. channels. It has a safe box with key (you pay €100 as deposit to use it and get it back later). There was wi-fi internet connection for €13 per day or €3 for a hour. Also there is a PC with internet and printer in lobby for €2.50 for 15 min. Breakfast was not bad if you don't expect much. Bread, croissant, tiny piece of cheese, jam, fruits, cornflakes. No, it was not our taste, so we took other things like olive, salami etc :) You might have to wait a short while though, since it has few tables. There is a small market 100m away on the Kleber street.
They also have a space if you keep your luggage after checkout.
In the morning, the street was busy, but it didn't bother us. Thank french guys for not beeping.
And bonus: you can see the Eiffel tower, if open the window and lean a bit further :)

Stayed at Elysees Union for 4 nights on our wedding anniversary. Hotel is a ten minute walk from both Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Room was reasonable size and clean with very comfortable bed and central heating adjustments at the touch of a button (this was November), and no problems with bathroom/shower. Stayed in room 611, which is a double, with a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower from our window. We used room service to have morning tea in bed and delivery was always prompt; in fact faster than some 5 star hotels we have stayed at!
Staff were marvellous, especially multi-lingual front desk who were most helpful. Breakfast is basic continental, although a la carte available at extra cost.
Hotel is very convenient for local restaurants, with many establishments within a five minute walk, especially on Ave. Kleber.
If using the metro we would suggest walking to Arc de Triomphe for Charles de Gaulle-Etoile station where you can travel direct to, for example, central Paris and Montmartre,
without changing lines.
If returning to Paris would definitely consider staying again at Elysee Union.

Stayed at the Elysees Union (a three-star rated by the Parisians)for two nights in November 2012. A relatively small hotel just steps from Ave Kleber, one of the main "spokes" from the Arc de Triomph, very conveniently located on the right bank of the Seine. Smallish but comfortable room, very clean, with a good-sized bathroom (tub/shower). Included continental breakfast with fruit ,cereal, yogurt, breads, pastries, coffee and tea, served in a cozy dining room downstairs. Rates are reasonable for Paris.

We had room 614, and we highly recommend for its stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, Just stick your head out the window, and there it is...sweet!

Jardin de Trocadero: 10 minutes walk
Eiffel Tower: 15 minutes
Arc de T.: 10minutes
Notre Dame: 30 minutes
Louvre: 25 minutes

Italian restaurant two doors away-small, quite intimate, Italian chef, good eats. Several others close by.
Mini-mart next door for wine (not a big selection), fruit, convenience food.

A very nice stay; we'd return to the Elysees Union

Room Tip: 614, street side. A little noisy with the windows open, but what a view.
