This is a very good hotel in the 9th arrondissement. Our room was small but the bed was very comfortable. The en suite again was small but efficient and clean. But most importantly it was wonderfully QUIET! We would never have known we were in the city! It is in a very attractive part of the 19th and just down the road from St George's metro station. Very convenient! Recommended if you want a no frills, convenient, clean place to stay in Paris. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment on that.

We stayed here 4days in April 2013 and we were very happy with our stay.

The hotel is on a moderately busy street, in the 9th district of Paris. The neighborhood felt warm, with many mothers and children walking about. Metro stop Saint George's is within 200 ft and bus stop 74 is across the street as well. There is a pharmacy 2 doors down, and a local mini market around the corner. Further down around the corner is a small plaza with an Indian, Lebanese, and Italian restaurant all which became very lively after 9pm. Overall it was a good location to many things but quiet at night.

Hotel staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful with directions to anything I'd wanted to see.
They had a happy hour daily from 3-7pm that we never had a chance to try, we were told it was open bar.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were very spacious, the bathroom clean with your standard amenities and clean towels every day. A/c worked very well and the windows opened up to a residential apartment building view, but still nice to see the architecture. The wifi signal was very strong considering we were on the 5th floor in room 509

The breakfast buffet had nice options, scrambled eggs, sausage links, coffee, yogurt cups, dry cereal (special k, frosted flakes, Cheerios) different pastries, juice, tea, hard boiled eggs. Pretty much the same everyday, it did get a little boring.

The hotel was extremely difficult to find but otherwise it was very clean, the hotel staff was friendly, front desk was fluent in English, and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. I could see the eifel tower from my room.

One key note is to not ask for directions from the hotel front desk staff. The metro is extemely close but don't let the front desk tell you to use the Opera metro station, as this is a far walk and it is easy to get lose between that station and the hotel.

I stayed for a short break with my parents and was very pleased with this hotel. The location is excellent, in a fairly quiet neighbourhood with local shops, but only steps from a metro, and also a pleasant 20 minute walk to Montmartre. The hotel is very clean and well-decorated. The rooms are quite small but on a par with other Paris hotels that I've stayed at. The staff were very helpful and patient with my elderly parents, getting them refreshments when they came in tired, and helping with directions, etc. There is free tea, coffee and some light biscuits available in the lobby in the afternoon, which was a nice break. Breakfast offered a good selection and again the staff were very helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: One of our rooms had a shower with a very high side to step over that my mother struggled with due t...

I spent three nights at Hotel Lorette Opera. It's a clean, well located hotel, a few steps (literally) from the metro station. The rooms, like most Paris hotels are tiny. So, if you've got two suitcases you're going to struggle for space. The upside however is that you have a decent size bathroom. The staff is very helpful and most speak fluent English. They'll gladly assist with pretty much anything.. directions, airport transfers, internet etc. I thought that the breakfast at the hotel was a bit pricey for what it offered but there are quite a few cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood so you can easily walk over to get a bite.

Stayed here for three nights beginning the 31st Jan 2013. The hotel itself I was impressed with - very clean and modern and the area of St Geroges is lovely.

The room was quite small but fine as we didnt spend that much time in there.
Nice big shower.

The only downside to our room was the traffic/street noise that could be heard even though we were on the second floor.

The breakfast was lovely and a good selection.

With regards to service, I did find the reception staff to be a little stiff and not overly friendly - apart from a young small dark haired girl who was helpful when planning our visit.

Overall I would recommend this hotel to others visiting Paris.

Clean and decent sized. Located like 100m from the metro. Good location. I like the fact that it is near to the departmental stores but not right smack in the centre where it is too busy and noisy. If you are going to Paris just to shop and sleep and go.. perfect hotel for you.
