“Not bad to just sleep in”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012 via mobile

Arrived mid afternoon, receptionist very helpful and told us where our room was. Room was clean & not bad for somewhere just to touch base at night. Didn't have food or drink here, because we always went out; and the "bar" is a few bottles that are on show behind reception desk.
When we checked out we were allowed to leave baggage while we went out to enjoy the last of Paris.
Don't think it is worth it's 4 star rating, but it certainly isn't as bad as some reviews make out.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel having made the reservation last minute using the secret hotel option. The location is fantastic, very close to Ternes and CDG Etoile (right next to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees) metro stations. Just outside the hotel there is a local market and very local Parisian bar with friendly staff, we spent a lot of time there! Fantastic fresh produce just outside your door and a super location. However, I would rate the hotel at 3 star at the very maximum. The room was noisy, cramped (even for Paris standards) and there was a strange smell in the room which staff were unable to rectify and as the hotel was full we could not change. The bed was OK but the pillows were dire, housekeeping tried their hardest however. Being tourists, we didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't such an issue not having the trappings of a real 4 star hotel. If you get it for a good price go ahead but don't pay too much, you will be disappointed.

Basically, i had to go to the hospital see a specialist as i had been bitten up all night by bed bugs and fleas in room 212.
When i said that to the receptionist on my way back to the hospital, he said that he couldn't do anything because the head receptionist was away! I had to take my Eurostar otherwise i'd have move heaven and earth to complain!(i have filed a formal complaint to heath authorities, accompanied by the picture of my bites and the hospital report).

The hotel looks good from the out but please beware!!

Room size was ok for a Parisian hotel, but wouldn't pay 300+ Euros (advertised rates) for it. We got it off Expedia for USD180, but still didn't think it was worth the discounted price.

We were there in Sept, so heat wasn't a problem, but don't think the rickety fan provided would have been helpful.

Stayed a night and woke up with bed bug bites in the morning. Grateful to checkout and leave for London the next day. This may have been a one off though.

Location wise close to Champ Elysee and the Arc de Triomphe, and convenient to get to the Nord train station.

Not a complete disaster, but wouldn't return again. There are probably better options around.

Great location if a bit hidden. Not even a 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe, and a 5 minute walk to the closest metro stop Ternes. Staff not so welcoming or enthusiastic but we were hardly in the hotel. Room clean with all the necessities we needed, although the triple family room is a bit cramped. We got an extremely good deal on Expedia which for the location was worth it! I wouldn't pay the rack rates they displayed but if you are looking for convenience in a nice area, this is perfect!

Room Tip: Looked out on to the courtyard which was fine

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and chose it purely on its location. The hotel claims it is 4 star, however I can't understand where that comes from. We stayed in a double room on the first floor which was tiny. I know Paris hotel rooms are always on the small side, but one our cases were in there it left practically no floor space at all.
The room was very hot with a small fine provided that helped a bit but it was too noisy to keep on overnight.
The bath had a few hairs in and after removing the top cover on the bed, there was a hairball on the blanket underneath! Not nice!!
Did not use the hotel for breakfast as they charge 14 euro per person, per day!!! Instead we found a small cafe nearby.
The hotel is in a good location, 15 min walk to the Arc de Triumph and only 5 to nearest metro.
OK hotel...nothing special!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were very disappointed to say the least. The staff at the hotel were unhelpful and quite rude and everything seemed too much for them. Upon arrival they could not even find our booking, saying that Expedia do not send them guest details.... we found this hard to believe. When our booking was eventually found we made our way to our room. The room smelt foul and was shabby, the smell of cigarette smoke from the other rooms also filled our room through the wall vents. The walls were covered in scuffs and marks, the paintwork was chipped and the ceiling was covered in damp with the paint peeling off. One of the plug sockets did not work and there was no seal on the bottom of the shower screen meaning that when you had a shower the floor ended up drenched in water. The twin beds were on castors and moved all over the place. There was no air con but 2 fans were provided in the room. This was just as well as they helped to drown out the noise from guests in surrounding rooms. The walls were paper thin and you could hear a pin drop. There were no tea/ coffee making facilities which we felt for a 4 star rated hotel was poor. No forgetting to mention that the net curtain had a suspicious brown stain on it and the curtains did not meet the end of the rail. The room was very, very small which I know is the norm for Paris however the room was so small that we could not even open the window. The only good thing that I can say about this hotel is that it is in a good location with a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysee.
