Changed hands since my last visit 18 months ago. Now run by Asians. Booked a single room , but upon arrival was given a double, and had to pay for double. No little treats in bathroom, only soap in a wall dispenser. Bedroom absolutely basic, no extras. But was clean. Walls paper-thin - could hear snoring from one adjacent room and TV from other. I was 4th floor up, windows very dangerous, nothing to stop you falling out except a wrought iron "fence" about 8 inches high. Felt very insecure. Had to ask for my room to be cleaned and tidied at 3.30 in the afternoon. Towels were not changed. The worst thing was the breakfast - served on 6th floor, no lift - one man getting trays ready and being the waiter. Waited ages. Hard croissant, hard stale bit of baquette, Dutch cheese, mini-jam, awful coffee tasted like "Camp", no milk. Worse than any air snack. Took breakfast in French bar on following days. VERY EXPENSIVE for what it was.
I will never go there again.
