A very well positioned hotel with access to public transport readily available for the tourist to discover Paris and environs. The staff were always helpfull and attentive. The rooms whilst smallish were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was in a pleasant dining area and had a good choice of options with out being extensive.

The hotel is very well located close to metro and shopping, five stars. Unfortunately that's where the fun ended. Room was the worst we had experienced in seven weeks of travel throughout Europe. Tiny room and bathroom, noise endless, view back of buildings and plant room, shower so small that you have to have one leg in and one leg out, toilet right up against opposite wall so sitting on it of most uncomfortable and I'm only 5'9" and 85kgs.
Fire alarm going off in the middle of the night for no reason.
Breakfast was typically continental, breads, cereals, cold cuts and juices.
Reception helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: Choose high and towards front ask to view room first before deciding to stay.

Dear Sir,

We are deeply sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our hotel.

In fact, some rooms are smaller than others and it is the same for the bathrooms. Our Superior rooms are much larger than the Comfort. For a more spacious bathroom, we recommend those with a bathtub. We also can propose either a courtyard view very quiet or a street view.

We are happy that you enjoy the quality of the breakfast and the service.

Waiting to welcomes you again,

Best regards

We struggled to find decent accommodation in Paris that was well priced and in a good area - until we stumbled upon this hotel! Such a great location, as mentioned in other posts, about 10m from the Saint Lazare metro station. Because it is a fairly central station, it is easy and cheap to travel to all the sights of Paris from there. Lots of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants close by as well.

The room was quite small (same as everywhere in Paris though!) and the bathroom even more so! Barely any room to move in the shower! Although, the room and bathroom were immaculate and the bed was quite comfortable. We had a room on the 4th floor facing the internal quadrangle, so it was very quiet. Water, tea and coffee are provided which is also handy. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff as well! Would definetly stay here again

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floors, facing the inner quadrangle are much quieter (and you can open the windows...

Reading the reviews I wasn't looking forward to staying at the Timhotel. However, I got a room on the 5th floor facing the street. It was nice and quiet. The room was very well air conditioned. The room was small, fortunately there was just me in a double room. The shower was incredibly small, quite claustrophobic. It didn't help that the shower head wouldn't connect with anything so had to be held. Decor, carpet was tired, looked unclean but actually wasn't.

The bottle of water in the room was welcome and the tray with tea and coffee on functional.
For one night I was quite happy with everything.

Reception staff friendly and efficient on both arrival and departure.

Room Tip: Go high to avoid traffic noise - 5th floor worked well.

I stayed three days in this hotel. When going to sleep the last night I could not find my gown that I left in the bathroom. Asking at 11pm at the reception I was suggested to go out and buy one. The following morning I was told that they would have investigated and informed me as soon as possible. A reply arrived in the evening that the gown was not found. I asked for the reimbursement and told that the issues was to be dealt by the manager who would be back on Tuesday (after three days).
Room are ok, bathroom and shower small; towels are proportional to the bathroom dimension!!

I stayed in this hotel last year,in july.Unfortunately,i can't say that i had a wonderful experience here. The hotel was just OK.The best feature of this hotel is the location,an excellent one-Gare Saint Lazare-easy to reach the most important attractions of the city. There were also many good restaurants near to the hotel.Passage du Havre is a nice shopping centre, very close to the hotel-with many shops, like Zara,Accesorize,etc...I think that the breakfast was a little bit
poor, but tasty and fresh.Rooms were very clean, but old furnished. It is necessary to be upgraded. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The first room they proposed opens to the concrete hole with a smell of sаusages (cost is 209 euro/night). The design is the worst I have seen before. Fortunately they found the room on the 7th floor with city view (superior room for 230 euro/night). It was noisy but still very high to feel uncomfortable. All other things were drastically terrible, ie bathroom with mould, shower with extreme temperature of water, the size of the room, the food in the dining room, the personnel. We had to change the keys several times per day because they didn't work. By the end of the stay we recognised that it was intentionally. The receptionist (polish girl Ania) knew that we hadn't left the money in the reception (safe is available only in the reception). Obviously there is no evidence, but...
Finally, the lock of our luggage was broken, the money was stolen. There are no cameras in the corridors, only on the entrance and in the reception. Therefore we have no clue who entered the room.
The boss of the hotel did not say any excuse when we were leaving. Horrible Place!
