“Perfect Spot for a WONDERFUL Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This hotel was WONDERFUL! The staff was always helpful and polite. The proximity to the Maubert-Mutualité (Paris Métro) station was outstanding and there were multiple cafes within 2 min. walking distance.

The bathroom was spotless and big for Paris standards. The only strange omission was the lack of bathroom washcloths. The bath and hand towels are great - so we just ran down the the Monoprix on Saint Michel and grabbed our own.

The only warning I would give to future travelers is that the bells at the church across the street are on a strange schedule and would go off intermittently for no reason. Sunday morning bells lasted a good 10 minutes, but other than that - they were no problem.

Highly recommend staying here!

I would highly recommend this little hotel- my daughters and I were entranced by how lovely and helpful the staff were. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of course you can get grander rooms in Paris, but you'll be paying much, much more (as my husband and I did on our 25th anniversary). Yes, the three of us were a bit cramped, but we each had our own single bed and were perfectly comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, and the only trouble we had there was that the shower door kept coming off the tracks when we opened one side. This was so minor that I never even mentioned it to the staff, or I'm sure they would have helped. They were so friendly and helpful about absolutely everything we did ask about. The location was perfect- in a charming, safe neighborhood incredibly close to Notre Dam and an easy walk to the metro. I would recommend taking one of their cards to show taxi drivers if you're using them (they really are not very expensive for getting around the city and can be a blessing if you're carrying shopping bags.) It's a small hotel on a small street and the drivers had a hard time finding it until I started doing this. We did use the metro a lot, too, and felt perfectly safe. Around the corner is the fabulous Eric Kayser boulangerie. They have a sit-down cafe a couple of doors down from the bakery where you can get an inexpensive breakfast with counter seating. Also, one of our favorite meals was at the Terrior Parisien, which is only about 2 blocks away on St Victor. The duck was amazing. Wow, I miss Paris already and would definitely stay here again!

My lady and i spent 5 amazing days in Paris for valentines and Hotel Agora was the perfect hotel.
The rooms are modern and well decorated with everything you need.
The room was made up everyday with fresh towels and bed linen.
The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the river and Notre Dam.
The hotel is in a safe location with plenty of restaurants and cafes around and also great transport links to other parts of the city...all within a 5 minute walk.
If you want a cheap but very good quality hotel in Paris, this is the one.
My only comment would be that the breakfast is very basic for the money, we found venturing out to local cafes was the best option.
However the hotel staff are very friendly helpful and speak English...
Thanks for a perfect stay!

Room Tip: We were on the 5th floor and rarely heard any outside noise...

This boutique hotel is quiet and located in a nice, safe neighborhood—Saint Germaine—which is near Notre Dame and has lots of charming shops and brasseries. The friendly concierges speak English and the wireless internet is pretty good. One downside: we did not have hot water most mornings so I would recommend getting up early or showering at night. Overall, though, I would certainly stay here again if I come back to Paris.

Excellent value and great location. The front desk was extremely helpful and very friendly. They were great recommending restaurants. Made our trip more enjoyable. They spoke excellent English and helped with reservations.

We have just spend 5 nights in this hotel. The area is safe, and very close to the city center near Notre Dame. The breakfast was very good but so basic just toast, 2 types of cold cuts and cereal. The staff of the front desk knows English very well. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the underground and 15 minutes from the RER if you are coming from the airport or going to euro disney. I book the hotel with an offer that was 515 euro for 5 nights but normal rate per night are 195 euro. So ask for an offer before you book. If we will go to Paris again we will stay in this hotel if we will have the offer again.
