My husband and I fell upon this very attractive Indian restaurant in the no smoking streets of Rue de la Harpe. The restaurant advertises meal deals and we were initially attracted by the low prices., including a 10 Euro menu. When told it wasn't available that day we didnt quibble because it did seem rather cheap and settled on the 12.50 menu instead. The food was of a poor quality and quantity on the small side. Some may argue we paid for what we got given the area we were in. This rating is based mainly on our feeling that this restaurant were determined to get as much money out of us as possible! First the menu that didn't exist, then by charging for 2 coke's we didn't order. (the place was quiet, cosy and no one in the restaurant had placed an order for coke that we could see). When we brought this to the waiter's attention he provided us with a corrected bill but when my husband then proceeded to complete the card transaction, he noticed the amount was the same and still included the cokes. Not what you would expect and could so easily have been missed had it not been for my husband being eagle eyed. We left with the feeling that this was one of a number of tricks used to exploit tourists and received a weak apology after completing the transaction.
